Whenever I get calls from Charity organizations, I tell them I ran out of my charity money.  I tell them "I play the lotto".  Yay or Nay?  I say Yay :)

Is giving with a hoped for return really giving?

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

If playing the Lottery was an acceptable Charity...

Winning would make you a Charity Case...

If our lottery money goes to education, then in some way it is a charitable contribution.
