$1.45 Million Multi-Match Jackpot Claimed
(Baltimore) – A Prince Georges County woman and her husband came to Lottery headquarters today to claim their $1.45 million winning Multi-Match ticket. The lucky winner matched all six of her numbers from the September 8th drawing.
“I went to check my tickets last week when I was told it was too high to cash and I had to go to Lottery headquarters,” said the winner. “I still didn’t realize I won the jackpot. I am still trying to let it sink in.”
The winner, who is a nurse, picked her own numbers by playing her patient’s room numbers. The mother-of-seven and has been involved in foster care for years. She plans to invest her winnings, and pay off her house and car. The winning ticket was purchased at K&Y Market in Seat Pleasant.
The Multi-Match game offers players three lines of six numbers each between 1 and 43. Players can match numbers from any of the three lines, giving them more opportunities to win. For the jackpot, all six numbers drawn must be on one line. Drawings can be seen on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:22 PM on WBAL-TV, Channel 11 in Baltimore and at 11:58 PM on Maryland Public Television throughout the State.

All I can say is do not be sick on that ladies shift! Nurses are expected to be deligent in specifics from meds to monitoring patients charts and vitals. This lady didnt even ASK the clerk WHAT the WINNING numbers were so she could be prepared when she got to the lottery headquarters. I have little regard for tossing in her foster care history as its basically away to have the govt pay your house and bills at the expense of a minor.
Yes she won and yes she can do as she pleases with her money. I just pray a part of it goes to getting educated on the skill of checking your tickets before appearing the fool.
