    Ike Turner's, "Rocket 88", recorded in 1951, is credited as being the first real rock&roll record.

    He was DEFINITELY one of the architects of rock&roll. 

    In spite of the lies and propoganda perpetratred against him by the media, he was a good man and a good father.

    That's why his son, Ike Turner Jr., accompanied him earlier this year when he recieved his Grammy award.
