i currently use an abbreviated 14 number wheel from lotterypost. i have hit 5 numbers a few times, but not on the same line. managed to make over 100$ anyway.

my questions are...

do you think it is possible to hit a 6 out of 6 or 5 out of 6 using an abbreviated wheel?? if so, what do you think the minimum amount of numbers 1 needs for the wheel. not that i would play 100's of tickets, just curious too see what some players think. i know it also depends where you put the numbers. every time you switch numbers around, the tickets come out different. does anyone have a good abbreviated wheel under 20 numbers??

Of course it is, but you must realize the number of abbreviated lines you play are just that many out of the number of lines in a full wheel of that size.  For example a 10 number full wheel is 210 lines while a 3if6 wheel for 10 numbers is only 2 lines so you have a 1 in 105 chance of a jackpot when all six winning numbers fall among your ten numbers on the two lines.

There are many wheels of the size you ask for that are considered classics of the purest form that cannot be improved upon.  However, if you can't put all the winning numbers among 20 or less often enough to be interesting, they do nothing but waste your money.

Here is an interesting wheel from Lotto-Logix.com

Simply replace my place holder pointer numbers with your best picks.  However,  if you want to win a jackpot instead of a 4# prize . . .

This is a 4if6in18number42combination wheel like you'd find in many lottery books or software only this one comes with a jackpot shot (one of the secrets of the wheeling experts).

The 18 numbers are divided into 6 groups of 3 numbers each.
Each group is played against every other group in the wheel.

      01-02-03 | 04-05-06 | 07-08-09 | 10-11-12 | 13-14-15 | 16-17-18

If you get three winning numbers correct in any two groups it's an automatic jackpot.  3+2 is a 5# prize. 2+2+2 = multiple 4# prizes.
