  Much simpler than astrology, numerology is another aid in planning a year's direction. In my last "8" personal year I was 92 grand in the black with my gaming.   

  I was born aug/17/1949

  to get my personal year for 2008 ( aug 17 2008 )

  8 + 1 + 7 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 8  = 26,  2 + 6 = 8
