If anyone recalls, there were two winners in the last large Megamillions drawing in December (I believe around 163 mil or so). Does anyone know what happened to the winners? Have they come forward? Could it be that two people have these tickets stuffed in some drawer somewhere, or could it be that two winners actually have enough sense to consult the proper advisors?

Most likely planning for their happy future.

Hopefully they are cognizant of the fact they have the winning ticket.  That being the case, I think they smartly decided to wait until 2008 to claim their prize so that they could actually do tax preplanning as opposed to merely tax filing.  Of course, that record Hoosier lotto winner and that large PB winner from RI actually got the chance to enjoy their millions this past holiday season (I bet they are flossing in some nice rides and threads!).  But I don't think it was the best move as I didn't get the impression that either winner was hard up for some cash...like if they hadn't won, then they would have lost their home or anything like that.  I really didn't think it was a good move to rush to claim without any planning, especially when the word casino is mentioned anywhere in a person's opening statements.  I hope it's not a case of easy come, easy go.

Get MONEY!!! Winning a JACKPOT lottery is all the HOPE and CHANGE I desire!!!  NOW give me MONEY!US Flag

The guy who won the presidency in 2008 really won the lottery...he is now millions richer, travels in first class style, and even has a staff that would be the envy of the richest Powerball winner (she has a staff of 2). Every night he goes to sleep, he probably plays the close of Dave Chappelle's Show: I'm rich beyatch!

I 100% agree. Years ago someone in my neighborhood one the lotter, about 15 million, and gambled away about 10 of it...what an idiot he was! Why do lottery winners feel the need to still gamble...and at casinos? I don't gamble at casinos now...now as for me, I'd rather sit pretty on a beach.
