...Recently I Moved from my place of residence that I lived for 38 years....Yes, 38 years and It was an extemely emotional move but I felt It absolutely had to be done.....Now, to remain annonymous I'm going to give random names and a random number of my new apartment....Well, I was going to the Home Depot early one evening and I passed a "Hollywood" Bar and Grill  restaurant,  it was closed but it looked like something that was  right out of  "Hollywood" and I'm not in CA or Hollywood, it actually looked Like a famous "Hollywood" type restaurant, This place had childrens first names written in stars that streched from the TWO entry doors that spanned from the front door to the rear door of this establishment....out of curiosity I began to read the names that were written in the stars (obviously) by kids....from the front door to where they stopped at the back door....I was shocked my middle name "David" was the first name written in the cement" stars" that went around the building and my first name "Teddy" was the very last name in the last "Star" at the back door!!! But hold up I'm not through yet, the number above the back door in the rear, right above my first name in the cement "Star" below was the building number that I had recently moved into (1990)....after 38 years!!!!

Hi PI4M -  Welcome to LP!    I had some thoughts on your post ...

Often times it is very easy to say that a house or piece of land is merely of the material plane of life and humans should not become attached to material things.  I agree with the premise but disagree that it is for every person a simple equasion.  It is certainly not for me.

Your post implies you are strong and, yet, leaving a familiar place of nearly 4 decades would certainly take an emotional toll.  I think physically moving and leaving behind familiar (and sometimes "safe") ground is a type of psychological trauma that is really only trumped by the loss/death of a loved one.  I also believe that it is a time where we consciously/subconsciously seek validation that we've made the right "move" in order to garner our strength and peace of mind.

Under similar circumstances, I'd be asking all along the way for the Angels to help me know I'd made the right decision.   I frequently refer to the Twilight Zone myself and definitely can relate; however, it's a good thing!   I think you are where you are supposed to be and are being given the best kind of reassurence.  You need to start rebuilding now from the stress of it all.   I also had the feeling that while this change in your life is going to throw some big obstacles your way, you are going to come out on the other side way better, stronger, more confident.    You seem quite surprised by the findings at the eatery - I think a few more good surprises are in store for you.

Congratulations on your move and your new place.     I wonder if the Mystical forum's Dream Team might pull a few good numbers out of your post too.  We shall see!   Jake Sun Smiley

        Jake,

Just by reading your post, you must  be an Blue Angel

        Thank U a MILLION...

Your Post bought some Sunshine into my life and that was what I was seeking bringing my situation to the LP forums...I deliberately left out another important aspect of this fascinating story.... I had been playing my new home number (let's say) 1990 for a few weeks and something told me to keep it in,  and on 1-5-08, it played 0199, I caught it on the box and won a couple of hundred dollars...NOT BAD!!!
