what does it mean when u go to play some set of #'s and the store clerk tells u those numbers are sold out or not for sale
he printed something out that said void not for sale ???
It means the lottery has sold so many tickets for that number either boxed or straight that they had to stop selling tickets due to the fact they have a set limit of how much they can pay out for a particular number. That amount could be close to 3 million or more.
It is like a buffer or protection for them. On any given day all the triples or quads can be sold out. Or any other number in between. Imagine if you will 1 million people played 111 for a dollar and it came out. 500 to 1 thats a lot of money for the lottery to pay out. Now imagine them having no threshold limit and people played numbers in a similar fashion every week and won, the lottery would go into debt paying out excessive winners. So they have to have some kind of protection from that happening.
Big John says. You don't hit the number. The number hits you!!!!
