Saw this Irish blessing today:
May you live as long as you want
and never want as long as you live
Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.
There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

IRISH LOTTERY WIN
A remarkable run of 11 Lotto rollovers came to an end last night as one lucky winner picked up the €14.5m jackpot.
A surge in ticket sales yesterday drove the prize to €14,543,033 - the second highest in the history of the game. And just like so many times before a huge jackpot was won around the time of a big national holiday.
The lucky punter will have a St Patrick’s Day and Easter to remember with the massive winnings.
National Lottery officials could only confirm last night that the winner came from somewhere in the east - which will lead to furious speculation before the Lotto headquarters opens its doors this morning at 9.15am.
The numbers were 24, 27, 28, 33, 35, and 36 and the bonus was 15.
The winner or winners have 90 days to claim the prize.
A National Lottery spokeswoman said: “The big prize has gone but it’s not all bad news. The jackpot on Saturday would normally be €2m but because it’s St Patrick’s Day we’re adding in an extra million, so there’s still lots to play for.”
