I'm sure this isn't on top of your to do list, but I was wondering if you could enable a hyperlink in the blog replys whenever you get around to it.

Thanx.

P.S. For some reason, (something new) whenever someone puts a link in the replys, I'm not able to copy and paste it. It won't allow me to highlight it in blue. Maybe it's this computer I'm using. I have to manually write the URL in the browser.

It's purposeful.  Comment spam is one of the blogging industry's biggest problems, and I avoid it altogether by not hyperlinking URLs in the comments.

The issue about not being able to copy and paste is something with your web browser.  Any standard web browser should be able to highlight and copy the text.

I never thought about that. It's virtualy a never ending job having to go thru every blog response to make sure a link isn't being posted that shouldn't be there.

      I don't blame you...lol

Also about the copy and paste, I don't have a problem doing it anywhere else on this site or other sites, just the blog comment section here at the LP. It just started happening about 2 weeks ago. This isn't my computer, so I won't be messing with the functions.

Can you click "Browser Compatibility Test" in the Resources menu, and then use the Send to Admin feature?

Ah yes, the report makes things much clearer.  The cause of the problem is the single warning on the report: you have not upgraded to IE7.  Since you're running Windows XP, upgrading to IE7 is a no-brainer.  You will instantly get a far-better internet browser that will get rid of much of the bugginess that plagues your web-browsing experience today.

That page happens to exhibit a bug that I've seen before, where IE6 decides that you can't highlight small sections of text; instead, it wants to highlight the whole page.  I've seen the effect on the majority of news sites out there too (using IE6).

IE7 is a free, simple upgrade for any Windows XP user.  Simply select "Windows Update" in the Tools menu of IE6, do the scan for new updates, and be sure to include the IE7 update.

IE7 will not ony let you open different web pages in tabs that run across the top of your browser (eliminating the concept of dozens of windows open at the same time), but you will also get a nice RSS reader built-in, so you can easily keep track of various feeds available at Lottery Post and just about everywhere else.

Thanx a lot for taking the time Todd. I'll ask my roommate if she wants to do this. I'm sure she'll agree.

That's great news.  You have lots of new things to try now.  And you can copy and paste to your heart's delight. Smile
