Just goes to show you.  People try to "balance" their jackpot picks. I got a quickpick for PB today and it was 40 42 51 52 55 + 04

So you look at it and the first reaction is Man, that's a lousy pick

But it turned out to be 3 of 5 on the white balls.

Just validation  of what I've always said:  When it comes to jp games, there are so many possible ways for the numbers to fall that there really isn't such a thing as a "bad" combination. Every one of the 142 plus million PB combinations could fall equally on any given drawing.

On one hand I totally agree with you, but on the other hand I play the types of games where the odds are the best, and the odds of a game being played such as the one from 5/24 are at about 8% right now.  I lean towards the types of games that are played 65-68% of the time, not 8%.

But all it takes is a lucky bounce.
