Yeah they did. It is called "It could happen to you". It stars Nicholas Cage, Rosey Perez and I forgot the other actress name. It is base on a true story. A police officer from NY give a waitress a tip. The tip is if he wins the lottery he will give her half. He wins and that's what he does.

      Play to win!

There's also 29th Street which I've saw a couple times several years back as a late night movie on a local TV station. It's movie about the first NY State Lottery winner Frank Pesce. He seems to be doing alright for himself as he's been working in TV and film (mostly bit parts or as an extra) for over 30 years now.

I think pac meant a Sixth Sense type movie about the lottery.

                Scared

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                    Scared

After this 12 year old boy sees his first set of 6 numbers come out in the next drawing, he profits his first millions on the next drawing.

Now that he had his fill of money, he has to decide who to give the winning numbers to once a week. Like that 70's show called "The Millionaire" He secetly gives out numbers to those who he thinks deserve it.

But things start to get ugly. The word leaks out and some unruly individuals vow to find this boy and take adavantage of his abilities.

He catches wind of these unscrupulous folk who are to get him and secretly moves to Guatemala.

He changes his name to Pedro, and becomes a secluded drunk, never to be found again.

There was an old Twilight Zone episode (back to the black & white ones written by Rode Serling himself) where Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett, Beverly Hillbillies) worked in a diner and was psychic.

Wehn his boss realized it, he kept wantintg him to go to the horse races, but Ebsen knew there was a curse that came with using his powers that way.

Sixth Sense.  Humm.  Not sure I want to be dead and see dead people to win the lottery.  Not much incentive there.  I'll settle for my little grabs.

There is always a curse.  Remember when they guy asked for world peace and every one except the star of the show, disappeared from the planet? Saying you can't have a real, eternal peace, while there are two people.  One will argue some place, some time, about some thing.

No curse with bad news would win.  We can't have a fairy tale where the bad win. In real life, the bad guys wins with zero resistance.  As some one said years ago, the greatest threat to mankind is apathy.  How many people are aphatetic about a country creating a nuclear bomb and openly states they want to destroy Isreal?  How many Americans would prefer to turn in the other direction and say, peace!
