A question for Todd.Prev TopicNext Topic

Hello, Todd
Have a question for ya?
Is there one and if not, a way to have a spreadsheet program made to show how many times a Pick-3 or Pick-4 number has come up?
What I’m asking for is a history statistic page you can scroll back and forth of all the numbers in pick-3 and 4, updated daily.
Something like this in pick-3 for example, as individual states and all states combined.

Didn’t put in the percentage times drawn, but that would also be part of the program.
Also, it would be filtered midday, evening or both… last 7 days, 30 days… and so on.
Thanks again, Gordy

I've moved this over to the Suggestions forum.
That's a nice view, it makes a lot of sense. For Pick 3 it would obviously be 1,000 rows, but Pick 4 it might get a bit unwieldy, no? (10,000 rows)
I will keep this in mind when I look at stats next. It certainly seems feasible.

Those stats could be loosely applied to Pick 4 in states which use ball drop since they likely rotate the same group of ballsets to perform Pick 3 and Pick 4 draws. This is how they do it in Georgia.
Have fun and the best of luck to everyone!

Hey, Todd……
Scared me there for a minute…. I thought it was deleted and you hated me because it involves more work for ya.
Suggestion: I’m sure this was not the first time a Topic was moved over.
May I suggest that a note be put in its place that it was moved to another folder? It would stop people like me from crying for no reason.
Example: A question for Todd. (Moved to Suggestions Forums)
Anyway, I’m glad you liked the view I’ve put together. I’m not a programmer as you can tell, so it took me all if not most of the night that I can presented it and sell it. It does look almost, if not exactly what you have here, so some of the credit does go to you for the idea.
Glad to see you are upbeat and you like the idea.
You do this Todd and you’ll never have to chase me down to renew my monthly Platinum membership again. Hell, I’ll buy a year or two or five in advance.
Thanks, Gordy.
May 10,000 bananas fall in your lap tonight!!!
One more thing I’d like to add to that History Statistic Graphic Page I’m suggesting.
A filtered page where you can compare your state against another, or the whole country.
Something like this.

Lottojunky,
If you lose track of your posts, just click "Members" in the blue menu bar and click "My Recent Posts" in the drop down menu and you will get a list of links to all your posts starting with the most recent ones first.
Good luck.
* you don't need to buy every combination, just the winning ones *

Good to know RJ… Thanks.

The main problem with doing a comparison like you're suggesting (illinois vs. rest of country) is that the scale will be so skewed that you will not get the comparitive analysis that you're hoping for.
There are a total of 59 Pick 3 drawings every day (including Canada and Puerto Rico). If just looking at the continental USA (not including Canada or Puerto Rico), there are 55 Pick 3 drawings.
Taking a best-case scenario, the comparison would be the results of two drawings (mid and eve) vs. 55 drawings, or 1 vs. 27.5. So on every conceivable view of Illinois vs. the rest of the country, there would be too large of a gap to be meaningful.
There are some different comparisons that would be very meaningful, but I'm not going to publish them here because I try to keep my ideas to myself until I'm ready to put them on display.
I appreciate the commentary, and any ideas you have feel free to either post them here or thru PM.

Todd, thank you for responding!
Continental United States on one page and individual states on another is just as beautiful…, Todd.
Having just the United States page in front of you, you can tell which number is the most active or not.
I do this manually on mechanics paper and it does work for me. About once or twice a month straight, and boxed all the time.
Just last week I informed the kids in Illinois Pick-3 forum to be on the lookout for 854 because it hit 5 times in 30 days.
It did on Tuesday’s midday draw and I walked away with some big bananas.
One still has to know what to look for and the instinct to make it work.
Thanks, Gordy.
