Can I proclaim the jackpot anonymously in CA?

 Did the regulation change? I know that CA doesn't/didn't allow anonymous claim for jackpot. But I heard about a recent winner in CA who claimed the jackpot anonymously. Did they change the rule?

      California allows people to claim anonymously on state lotteries, not sure about Mega Millions. Michigan also allows you to claim state lottery winnings without your name being released but not for MM..

      You can't predict random.
