I know they post the annual amount of the jackpot and the cash amount, but sometimes we will see a winner receiving more than the advertised amount.  Or, on the night of the drawing, the estimated value will be raised due to sales.  Is there anywhere we can find out if they get raised or not?  I mean, even if it is not a significant raise...only a couple of million or so?

Anyone knowing a link would be greatly appreciated.

It would be interesting to know but I think that's one of those thing where one wouldn't find out until after there's been a jackpot winner since the increase would just roll into the next drawing if no one hit it.

    You can't predict random.

It does say "Current Estimated Jackpot" on the Mega Millions website. You can't expect them to be 100% accurate 100% of the time. Besides, even they don't find out what the official jackpot is until shortly before the drawing anyway. There's no reason the players can't wait an hour to find out what the official jackpot is.

You have a point.  Cheers  You both do, actually.  Thank you.
