What would be the best place to hide after winning a jackpot, if that's what you wanted to do?

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. So many systems, so many theories, so few jackpot winners.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Hae you ever been to the top of Mt Washington? Maybe that's why you included it in your poll. I checked that one, although you probably should have added "in the winter."

Does it still have that little cog railway? I remember taking it to the top and there would be markers where people who didn't make it perished.

I just figured since winds there have been recorded at 200 mph it would be a good place to hide!

Imagine the wind chill temp with those kind of winds!

Best place to hide is anywhere but where you are when you hit. All the attention would be focused on your current address. If you spend the first few months quietly living elsewhere you are invisible. If you live it up, they will find you.

However, if you are in a populous area, just staying where you are might be okay, too.

I don't need to imagine it. That's where I'm from! Of course I never was on top of Mt Washington during 230 mps winds. LOL I'm originally from Boston and lived in Southern NH for about 8 years, but the contiguous states are so small that it's a short hop to NH from many areas of MA, so day trips to popular spots like Lake Winnipesaukee were common growing up. I've got to admit, however, I'm not one of those adventurous souls who climb mountains or would attempt to ski down Tuckerman's Ravine. Years ago I hiked a trail near Cannon, which was very pretty. However, my back never recovered from the hike. Walking down the trail was harder than going up. I recommend paying a few bucks & taking the tram! Sometimes I get homesick for the crisp, cool air around Franconia. I'm sure NH has completely changed since I moved to Florida 14 years ago. Just hope there aren't condos along the Kancamagus Highway where I'd sometimes drive on a weekend just to watch the sunset.

I would have a nice modest house built in the country and grow my own food. Have at least 6 trained guard dogs, a couple of horses, and all the equipment needed to keep me busy. There I would live out my life away from the ills of City life.

Yeah, my wife and I feel the same way- all we were doing was watching the show and we'll miss him, he seems like such a likable guy.
