There's a book advertised on a book club catalog called Ken Jennings Trivia Almanac, and the subtitle is 8.888 Questions in 365 Days.

Farenheit 451 comes to mind

There's a book called The Magic of Believing that has the number 23 on the cover.

Any others come to mind?

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

You mean titles like, 101 Uses For A Dead ******.  Turn it into lemonade?
    101 Uses for a Losing Lottery Ticket . . .

I can't remember how it is with books, but with movie titles in Blockbuster the number titles are ahead of titles starting with A, B, C, etc. So potential viewers see them first when they run the wall.
