Maybe there's really some kind of god and he/she/it was upset by my post about escort service. (which was axed, I think.)

Now the jackpot amount for SLP is 36 millions. It was 34 millions last time. I was expecting 3 million increase, but I am afraid that the sale wasn't that good last week. Unless it's increased by 4 millions this Saturday, it won't exactly reach 40 millions. Damn, why am I so preoccupied that dream three years ago?

I bet the next winner would be some another old geezer who retired and have 7 grandchildren or someting. Actually that's a very typical scenario. There are not many SLP winners who are younger than 35.

You know, I want to be one. :(

We can always hope to win a jackpot.

The majority of players are above 35+, not sure why. I am 25 and I play the mega millions for kicks when its high. A lot of kids now 18+ are jumping in on the lotto action, even scratch offs. With college tuition to consider this could be another way to pay it all off in one swing.

I'll take Mega Millions, you can have SLP. Big Smile But there's no point in getting hung up on it, I admit that I get a little nuts sometimes and disappointed when someone wins when I play but eh, what can you do someone has to win and it's most likely not going to be you, me or anyone else on here.

      You can't predict random.

Ambelamba, if you see someone win the SLP from Bakersfield then you know who it is.

"Damn, why am I so preoccupied that dream three years ago?"

          I was at a bookstore and saw a dream book (Zolar's) and flipped through it -I jotted down what the book said for a lottery dream;

"To dream that you are interested in a lottery or hold a ticket for such a chance is a bad omen. There will be an unhappy attachment or an engagement to some persoin who will not be worthy of your love. 592"

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

          Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

I was close.  I picked 3 of the 6 numbers correctly for the SLP and the other 3 numbers i was only 1-2 numbers away on each of them.

That's not close. At least not to me.

I understand probably for someone who has been playing for a long time they may not consider it close but I have only been playing SLP for about 2 months now. The longer I play I'll probably understand that it's really not that close. But you also have to understand that it wasn't a Quick Pix play. I played one dollars worth and picked 3 of 6 and was 1-2 numbers away on the other 3. I would say thats not that bad for a newbie player.

The main reason why I want to win the jackpot is to buy a commercial property so that I can have steady incomes. Gosh, how many times did I tell you guys already? :)

Anyway, I found something peculiar about SLP this week. Normally the actual amount you get paid for 40 mil is about 17.2 mil after tax. Current jackpot is 39 millions (gaaaahhhhhhh) and strangely, the actual amount after tax is 17.7 millions. Normally it should be about 16.5 mil if the posted amount is 39 mil. Something is definitely strange...hmm...

I think 39 million is close enough ambelamba. I say you buy a few tickets for this Wednesday's drawing.

The funny thing is that actual payout for this week's SLP is higher than what 40 million jackpot pays normally.

Where do you look that tells you what the jackpot winner would receive after taxes?

Nevermind I see on the Ca lotto website where it says the estimated cash value is and then you just subtract 25% for taxes

I don't mind to wind $39 Millions in Super Lotto Plus. It's a nice number.
