                    Congrats to winners!

Thanks for your input & suggestions that help me get 2 out of 3 in yesterday's day and night drawings.

A question: If any of you have ever won the larger $250 plus prize, would you suggest taking your ticket to the local retailer store for redeeming or is it "safer" to travel to a regional Lottery center. The nearest one to my area is 80 miles away. I'm just curious as if the retailers are required to redeeem them or if they can deny and tell you they don't have the $ to spare at that time.

                    Thanks for helping a newbie.

go to the retailer if larger than 580 on 1 ticket  then you have to go to the lottery center

                        Thor,

Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any large store such as Kroger, Fiesta, Randalls, HEB.    Prizes $600 and over must be claimed at the Lottery Commission.  I have never had a problem at any of these places.  Good Luck.

thank you for your input, the only problem that I have is I live in a small populated area that doesn't have any major retail chains as you mentioned, most that sell are the convenience stores and what mom and pop stores are left today.

i probably am just worrying too much.lol.
