Gap Strategy - Review, Part 6
As previously stated, Gap Strategy is a system whereby the variations in several interrelated data streams are used
to generate numbers to play.It is not a Prediction System, per se.
The user brings together some or all of the data streams and, following prescribed procedures, makes his or
her 'best guesses' on what numbers to play. The numbers to choose from come from what I call a "NUMBER GENERATOR ARRAY" having 10 or more components, or data streams,
depending on the specific workout to be used.Gap Strategy is very flexible.
There are 4 main workouts: #NR V2, #NR V1, GNR V2, GNR V1
#NR indicates that the lottery number stream is used to generate numbers. No repeat numbers allowed.
GNR indicates that the Gap number stream is used to generate numbers. No repeat numbers allowed.
V2 means the count in the Hot PID stream is from Right to Left.
V1 means the count in the Hot PID stream is from Left to Right. It's important to remember that V2 and V1 produce different Before&After triples. They are NOT interchangeable.
NGA Components for the #NR workout.
Fixed Position Identifier Configuration
Lottery number stream.
Hot Position Identifier stream.
Fixed Alpha Identifier Configuration.
Before and After Triple Charts.
D&C Inventories.
Main number generator sequence having 3 or more Hot Alpha Identifer cells (Letters only, e.g. the C in C9)
3 sub-arrays having three Hot AID data cells (A, B, C).
1 sub-array having one Hot AID data cell (R) (needed only for Hot AID streams having 10 cells.)
Other charts and inventories.
Intuition, gut feelings.
Luck!
NGA Components for the GNR workout. The same as for #NR except that the Gap number stream is used to generate numbers to play.
DemonstrationIt is convenient for me to use a Pick 3 game, rather than coming up with a set of numbers
to play for a Pick 5, Pick 6 or Jackpot game.I'm going to use the GNR V2 workout for the Texas Pick 3 night game.
The game has 10 numbers (0 to 9), which means it always has 10 active cells.
Therefore, the FIXED Position Identifier is F1F2F3F4F5L1L2L3L4L5.
The Fixed Alpha Identifier is A1A2A3B4B5B6C7C8C9R10Here is the layout for the daily, game-by-game graph paper worksheet I'm using.
Winning lottery number line: (These are in Exact order in groups of three in a single row across the page.
(This is a reference line I use to make sure I have processed each drawing)Fixed Position Identifiers: (This is a Historical line, therefore repeats are allowed.
I use this stream to update my PID and AID inventory chart)
The entries are in a single row immediately above the Gap number stream.Gap Numbers: In groups of 3 in a single row across the page. X equals inactive cells.
Hot Alpha Identifiers: (Two lines with Letter part on first line) The entries are in a column directly below the
Gap number stream.(These are dual purpose streams, therefore, no crossouts. The Letter stream is used to form the Before&After Triples.)
(The combined Letter/Number, e.g., C9, B4, etc, are used for the Hot AID inventory.Hot Position Identifiers: 10 cells on a single line several rows below the Hot AIDs stream (I have removed the inactive cells)
Example: (As of 120208 Night drawing)
Winning numbers: 2 8 0 5 0 0 4 5 0 5 0 8
FPIDs: F3L3F3 F2L2L2 L3F5L5 L2L5F5
G#s: X X 0 X X 1 9 X 3 x 2 4
HAIDs(L): B B A C B A B C C B A A
HAIDs(#): 6 6 2 7 4 1 4 8 9 4 2 5HPIDs: F4L4F1L1F3F2L3L2L5F5
Note: I would have to go back an additional 7 drawings to get all 10 Gap numbers.
NGA WORKSHEET FORMAT FOR NUMBER GENERATIONFor this demonstration, I have decided that I want to use the GNR V2 workout to generate 4 numbers, which I will wheel to obtain 4 sets to play.
To do this, I need the current Gap number stream, the Hot PID stream, the current Lottery Number stream.
I also need the D&C, Before and After Triple and HPID and HAID inventory charts.Using graph paper, this is how the 10 active cells in the required streams are arranged: (This shows better if copied to graph paper)
FPID Configuration: F1F2F3F4F5L1L2L3L4L5
G#s: 8 5 6 7 0 1 9 3 2 4
FAIDs: 1A2A3A4B5B6B7C8C9C10R
Hot PIDs: F4L4F1L1F3F2L3L2L5F5
L#s: 9 3 6 7 1 2 4 5 0 8I said earlier that I want to play 4 numbers. Therefore, I need an "NGA sequence" having 4 empty cells, which will be
filled using the last letter in the three letter triples that I will choose. EX: BCA, the A is the third letter.(Note: If I wanted to play 5 numbers, there would be 5 empty cells to fill, etc.)
The Before and After Triples are GUIDING FACTORS in generating numbers to play.
This process begins with the LAST TRIPLE in the Hot AID line on the worksheet.Referring to the daily game-by-game worksheet above, the last triple is "BAA"
(Important note: You will recall that the triples are formed by adding new HAID letters as they occur. In the above, the triples
are BBA BAC ACB CBA BAB ABC BCC CCB CBA BAA)Therefore, the next triple MUST begin with 'AA'
Referring to the B&A chart for Triples with Middle letter 'A', there are 4 choices: AAA, AAB, AAC, AAR.
According to my charts, AAA has come up 10 times, AAB has come up 10 times, AAC has come up 5 times, AAR has come
up 3 times.I must choose one of the four.
I usually pick the Triple with highest #ofTimes total.
In this instances, there are two with same total - AAA and AAB.My "Followers Chart" indicates that AAB follows BAA more often than any other triple.
Therefore, I choose "AAB10"
The last letter in the triple is "B", which is put in the first of the four NGA sequence cells referred to earlier.
It is helpful to record the cell letters on the worksheet as they are generated.
Continuing.
If "AAB" is the correct choice, the next Triple HAS to begin with "AB"
There are four possibilities - ABA, ABB, ABC, ABRAccording to my charts; ABR2, ABA6, ABB6, ABC13
My choice is ABC13.
The last letter, "C", is put in the second NGA sequence cell.
If ABC is correct, the next triple has to begin with 'BC' - BCA, BCB, BCC, BCR
According to my charts: BCR3, BCA8, BCC10, BCB8
My choice is BCC10
The last letter, 'C' is put in the third NGA sequence cell.
If BCC is correct, the next and final triple must begin with 'CC'
The choices are CCA, CCB, CCC, CCR.According to my B&A charts: CCR1, CCC8, CCA7, CCB8
I have two choices. The Follower charts don't help much in this instance.
I choose "CCC8" because it has been 'out' the longest.
The last letter 'C' is put in NGA sequence cell 4.
The final NGA sequence is: "BCCC"
(Note: It is helpful to write the B&A choices on the worksheet for future reference)
Thus:
AAA10 AAR2 BCR3 CCR1
AAB10 ABA6 BCA8 CCC8
AAC5 ABB6 BCC10 CCA7
AAR3 ABC13 BCB8 CCB8NGA: B C C C
(Note:If I had decided I want to play 5 numbers, the last triple would begin with 'CC'
This would have caused a repeat of the triple set above for the 4th number. Since I have already used "CCC8", I would
have to choose either CCA7 or CCB8)The next step is choosing numbers to play.
(For convenience, I've copied the worksheet to this area of the file and added the FAID stream)
FPID Configuration: F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 L1 L2 L3 L4 L5
G#s: 8 5 6 7 0 1 9 3 2 4
Fixed AIDs: 1A 2A 3A 4B 5B 6B 7C 8C 9C 10R
Hot PIDs: F4 L4 F1 L1 F3 F2 L3 L2 L5 F5
L#s: 9 3 6 7 1 2 4 5 0 8
The NGA sequence tells that I need to choose 1 of 3 "B" AIDs (4B5B6B), and 3 of 3 "C" AIDs (7C8C9C)The selection is based on data that is organized as follows:
HAID - #of Times - HPID - #ofTimes, Gap# - MostFrequent#ofTimes, Last Round#ofTimes, Short Term#of Times.
Thus:
4B 31 L1 33 1 26 15 5
5B 24 F3 24 6 37 17 1
6B 36 F2 25 5 55 32 5Explanation:
HPID 4B has come up 31 times.
Referring to the HPID and FAID streams above, the HPID for 4B is 'L1', which, according to the PID/AID inventory has come up 33 times.
Referring to the FPID Configuration, the Gap number for 'L1' is '1'
My D&C chart shows that G#3 has a MFL total of 26, a Last Round total of 15 and a short-term (current) total of 5.The HPID for 5B is F3, the Gap# is 6
The HPID for 6B is F2, the Gap# is 5According to the Fixed AID configuration, the "C" choices are:
7C 32 L3 33 3 28 14 7
8C 36 L2 24 9 31 13 2
9C 31 L5 40 4 43 28 5The HPID for 7C is L3, the G# is 3
The HPID for 8C is L2, the G# is 9
The HPID for 9C is L5, the G# is 4According to the NGA sequence, I need to select 1 B and 3 Cs.
After studying the 'B' data, I choose '6B' because it has the highest #ofTimes total.
Choosing the 3 Cs that I need is easy. I choose all three. (LOL)
Note: Situations where all of the AIDs are in play occurs frequently. I see it as a good thing. I've not yet found a reliable
reason why I wouldn't want to play 3 of a kind.) LOLCompleting the NGA Sequence:
AIDL: BCCC
AID#: 6789
G#: 5394
Which 4 lottery numbers to play?Refer to the Lottery # stream above: The first G# is 5. This is a V2, right to left, workout, therefore, counting 5 spaces to the left in the
L# line produces a 'L#2'; 3 spaces space produces 'L#5'; 9 spaces produces 'L#3'; and 4 spaces produces 'L#4.L#s: 2534
Using the ABC wheel, the 4 sets to play for the 120308 night draw are:
ABCD
2534Plays: ABC/253 ABD/254, ACD/234, BCD/534
The winning numbers were: 914 (I had 1 if 3)
Backtracking: To get L#9, I needed AID 10R and Gap10.
To get L#1, I needed AID 5B and Gap #6.The only correct choice was 9C, G#4 and L#4.
Lessons Learned:
1. Gap Strategy doesn't win all the time.
2. Playing the Triples with highest totals isn't always the best choice.
3. The workouts provide the means whereby a player can go back and learn where bad choices were made.
4. A bunch of other factors, too numerous to mention. LOLConclusion
I realize that Gap Strategy is new, somewhat complicated and the start-up is time consuming.
But, it's surprising how easy and straight forward it becomes with practice.
I've been doing this for a year. It took a lot of time to generate the lottery number and gap streams for all of the Texas
lottery games, MegaMillions, Powerball and 2 Florida games that I track on a daily basis, but I think it was worth it.I'm retired, have a lot of time and really enjoy playing the lotteries. It's entertainment for me!
Just wish my pockets were deeper! LOLFor those of you who are interested in using Gap Strategy, I suggest you begin with your Pick 3 game. I guarantee that after
you update the streams for a month or more, it will become somewhat of a 'simple simon' type job. That doesn't mean you will
win every draw, but there will be wins. And, you will have the satisfaction of playing your own numbers.Of course, accuracy is really, really important.
I strongly suggest you play the combined day/night Pick 3 drawings, rather than Day and Night. Less work. Or, if you have
the time, you can do all of the games.A big question is whether or not all of the work will provide enough wins to make it all worthwile.
I haven't had any big wins, but, the many small ones I've had, particularly in Pick 3, leads me to believe that I'll one
day choose all the right numbers - and get them on the same line.Gap Strategy is new, it's flexible and has a lot of potential. There are a few things going on that I don't completely
understand, but the answers will come as I obtain more and more data. Unfortunately, there are no reference sites on
the internet. I'm making history one drawing at a time.Bottom line, I have a strategy, workouts and a means to choose my own numbers, rather playing QPs, the RNG output of a
commercial system or someone else's choices.Give it a try!
I'm going to be posting more examples using the a Texas Pick 3 game.
I have double checked and I think everything is correct, but I usually make a mistake or two.
Thanks for your interest.
If you have questions, now is the time. I really would appreciate feedback.

Wonderful observation and description.
Question, how often do you hit with this Gap Strategy?

Thanks for your feedback.
I'm holding a winning ticket for $290 that I won in Pick 3 couple of weeks ago!
I usually win $40 once a week.
I change my numbers every day.
If I could afford to play 5 or 6 numbers, I'm sure I would do better.
The thing I like most is that I don't have to play 35 lines to win $40!

Sweet. Do you have this Gap Strategy cheat sheet? As in a mini version for quick view or would one need to read all parts to start the workout for their state? I would love to spread the word about this Gap Stretegy to my friends.

Sorry, but Gap Strategy requires data for specific games. That is, you would
have to start from scratch with one of the Georgia games.
This will give you sequences and #ofTimes totals for that game.
My data for the Texas games wouldn't help you at all.
