  I think sales are down.  But I think a $200 mill jackpot will generate enough sales for their to be a winner.

  I'd vote this Friday too, because with this last drawing they had 18 tickets that had all five numbers, but not the Megaball.  And I think it will hit in Ohio or California (they each had 4 a piece of the 5+0 winners).  Of course if it doesn't hit, then it definitely should by Christmas.  Wouldn't that be a nice stocking stuffer to give your significant other, the winning ticket.  **sighs**  I can only wish.

  I'm amazed no one won on Tuesday, 12/09/2008.

  With 11-12-26-31-33 MB: 27, and a huge jackpot of $170,000,000,
  seems like the perfect set of numbers for people that play on the calendar;
  birthdays, etc.

  I guess the lottery gods say "Let it ride one more time!"

  I am going to say next Tuesday, but I'm being selfish.  I will be in Ohio on Saturday which means I can finally purchase a MegaMillions ticket!  It would be nice if the jackpot was still high!

  There were eighteen tickets which had all five numbers the last draw.

  Even assuming that only half of those were quick-pick tickets, that would be at least nine computer generated tickets which indicates a high number of tickets being played last Tuesday.  Assuming, at least the same number of tickets are played, this Friday -- we have a good possiblity that there will be at least one winner.

  That being said, I would love the pot to continue to grow until we reach the Christmas week!

  Was it PowerBall -- which had a Christmas/New Year winner -- in 2003 or so?

  I would love to see jackpot over 300,000,000 by the end of this year,but there are greater chance,that

  someone may hit it,then last time.

  If there is a winner or two, they won't be disappointed about the jackpot not rolling.  They'll will be able to collect their winnings in time to spend a little for Christmas.
