Hello friends. Long time reader here, casual poster. After 2 years of serious TIME and effort, I have a method that has made me some good money and would like to share with my friends here at LP. First off I would like to say thanks to everyone here for their help because my method combines several.

It's time consuming and requires some work so if your looking for an easy way out this is not it. Okay, first thing you need to do is check every box number in your state that has not hit. That requires checking them all for the year. It's best to do this around Sept. or so because the list of no hits can be too big in lets say Feb or March. Right now in Pa. my list has 10 combos that have not hit. It started out as 20 but has since gotten smaller. As you make your list, date the numbers. There maybe some real longshots that havent hit in several years, put them in a seperate list. Okay, I now have my list of 10 or so numbers. Now it's time to set the trap. (Thanks Bob P.) For example, in Pa. a number 2 hasn't hit in 10 days. Chances are a 2 is coming. So I go to my list and play all the combos with a 2. But there is 7 of them and I want to win big! Like I'll bet \$20.00 on 1 number play it wheeled 6 times and straight a bunch more. Maybe a couple different ways. So, this is where I'll combine systems. On my list is also the sums of the numbers. I also see a sum of 11 hasn't hit in 58 days! Oh boy! Only 2 numbers on my list with a 2 that equal a sum of 11. And they are 029, and 236. Of course you'll have to back track your states history to get the sums. I only use sums between 9 and 18 the others get too long in between hits and havent proved themselves to be worth it. Doubles can spoil the day but I also have a seperate doubles list which when doubles are due I just play the 4 or 6 longest ones out there. After all there half price so it's not bad. You don't have to play everyday, wait for something to be overdue. You'll need a little intuition and feel and that's where the longshot list comes in. The longshot list can drive you broke because nothings garanteed but If you think it's time for one of those numbers go for it. This way has yielded me many big hits and I hope it will for you to. Good luck to all.

For those who are interested in this method, copy and paste it into your notebook, then use the finder "apple + F" for Mac, and "ctrl + F" for PC. for quick find of the number, then mark it off or moved it to another notebook page.

It may take many attemps to get a hit, remember it is an extremely cold number for a reason. Covering the possible straights for one number can be worth the chase. Each number have 6 straight numbers; ex. 123 = 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321.

Other things I consider are if consectutives are due, or all even or odd, or 2 evens and an odd or 2 odds and an even, once again go to your list and see what matches. This method has an average for me of 4 to 6 hits a month. And remember to look for something that really sticks out. Really overdue. Hope this helps.

Are you playing in straight or box, or both?

Because it would be nice to get 4 str = \$900/\$1,000 (o/r). 6 str = \$1,350/\$1,500 (o/r). :D We could use that.

Hi Doug...I'm from Pa, too!  can you share some of your pick 3's for pa?  Do you use your system for Pick 4?

This is for pick 3. Nightime only. In Pa. we have a ticket you can purchase called super straight for \$3.00. Some states call it a wheeled ticket. Basically it's all 6 combinations of a 3 digit number. So 50 cents times 6 equals a 3 dollar ticket. A little pricey yes but your garanteed a straight money payout. Sometimes I'll buy 6 super straight tickets (\$18.00) and 10 straight (\$5.00) totalling \$23.00. If it hits straight that's \$4,000.00!!! If it hits box the super straight still pays me \$1,500.00!!! Sometimes I'll play the straight number 2 different ways just to save on the cost of a super straight ticket. \$1.00 -vs- \$3.00. Now you asked for it so here it is. My list of the 10 numbers that are due. In no particular order, 025, 029, 125, 149, 236, 248, 267, 367, 456, 568. The number 456 is the longshot. Hasn't hit since 11/04/06. Now follow me.  In Pa. a 5 is due (10) days. A sum of 11 is due (59) days. Consecutives are due (53) days. This could be the time for the longshot. (456). It has a 5, it's consecutive. Or play the other numbers that contain a 5. But the sum of 11 is also due. This is where you have to use a little intuition. I mean, you could also break away from the list and play the sums of 11 with a 5. Such as 056, or 245. But on my list is 2 sums of 11. 029 and 236. I try to chose what I feel is the MOST due. I used to lock into one number and play heavy. Now I change my number almost daily depending on what hits. For example if 567 hits tonight that takes care of the 5 and consecutives so I'll drop the 456. The beauty of this method is there's no hocus pocus or magic formula. It's all common sense and the laws of probability. Hopefully someone will have VERY Merry Christmas with one of those numbers. If 2 or more of those numbers don't hit by the end of the year it will be the first time since July that my list has produced less than 5 hits during a month. Hope this helps and good luck to all!!!

Nice work Doug !!!

If you don't mind working with dos software that runs just fine on Windows (like GH though you might have to create a pif), Sigma Side Winder will allow you to enter the previous 10 months or any amount of past draws you like and will tell you the Pick-3 and Pick-4 boxed numbers that have hit from the most to not at all so far.   As there are only 220 boxed numbers, 210 if we ignore triples, and 365 days in a year and some games are drawn twice a day, but not on Sunday in some states, there is a very good chance all the numbers will be drawn over a given 12 months and with 10 months in the hopper as Doug says, the missing ones could be picked up in the final 2 and the way to go is to look at what else is past due to help make the selection.

As I recall, Sigma Side Winder just looks at the total number of times each number was drawn boxed, it doesn't care about the date, so you can enter numbers working back from today's date until you have a reasonable quanity of numbers with zero draws to work with as opposed to starting 10 months back in the draw history working forward only to find in your game all the numbers were already drawn in the first 9 months.

The law of thirds tells us that of the 220 numbers one third will be drawn 2 or more times in the next 220 draws, one third will be drawn one time and one third won't be drawn at all.  In the next 220 two thirds of each of these blocks will change  to another block and so on.  So you can see how this will grind into the not drawn numbers in states with two draws a day.

If this works everywhere it would make a cool premium feature on LP.

Anyway just to clarify, as your numbers on the list hit, you eliminate them. Therefore the list keeps getting smaller. For example, in Pa., up untill a few weeks ago my list had 13 numbers. Then 458 hit, 027 hit and 013 hit knocking my list down to 10. Actually 458 and 027 hit TWICE!! It seems that when a number hasn't hit for a while they have a habit of hitting again within a few weeks. Something to think about. Also, if you don't include doubles there's only 120 numbers to sift through when creating your list. Like I said earlier, doubles to me are a whole different animal. The doubles that are out there right now are 998, 338, 114, 997 and 331 in chronological order. When doubles are due, that's what I'll be playing. Good luck to all.

I wish I could take credit for that but ... daytime . Anyway, if you've been following you'll see that a 5 is still due, really due now (12 days) out. The 11 sum is still due (60 days) out. Consecutives about 50 days out. On my list the numbers left with a 5 are 502, 512, 645, and 658. Beings that a 5 is so far overdue I'll be playing all of them. Remember I said I play what I feel is the MOST overdue, well a 5 is coming. 5 something is the key. So the list is my first step. Then there's that 11 sum. Well, there's only 2 with a 5, 605, and 245. I think I'll play them also. I also have 2 sums of 11 on the list, 902, and 236. It's going to be tuff, but I think I'll drop them because there's no 5 in them. I'll probably get burned since I've been playing them for a week now but we have to get the group of numbers that we're going to play as small as possible.

Now to try and capitalize and make some serious bucks. I have to try and pick some straight. If you can pick where only one digit will fall it leaves only 2 ways to come in. Let's say in that group my favorite pick for tonight is the 245. Now I'll do a column check. The only thing that really stands out is the 2 hasn't hit in the 3rd column in 36 days. So if I put the 2 last it only leaves 452, and 542. I can pile on a bunch of straights for cheap and hopefully score the big one. So now I've got my picks down to 6 for tonight. Not too bad. I generally like less but that's the way it is. I hope this helps someone out if you've been having a hard time trying to figure out what numbers to play, this method at least gives you some logical way of picking, and has proven itself in the past. Good luck to all!

That's a total of 109 numbers! It would cost you almost \$300.00 to play each one super straight. The whole idea here is to develope a reasonable list to choose from and hit big.  ???????????
