Yeah, I play pretty regularly. I'm considering getting some 'hot ball' stats for it.
You know, I went into a store and bought a ticket one Tuesday night, in preparation for the drawing that I thought was later.
I hit 5 numbers on my lines, and thought I had won $7....!? yay?
But then when I tried to cash my ticket, the girl told me that the drawing hadn't happened yet, and that's when I learned that unlike Mega Millions, Mega Match drawings happen at like 7 PM and I had bought a ticket for that *Friday's* drawing.
But I've done the math on it, and though I don't have an exact figure, the return rate on it is about right at 50% (of course depending on the current jackpot). I mean, that's not as good as some scratch off tickets, but it's certainly better than a low-jackpot Powerball. It ranks right up there with Pick-3 and the Palmetto Cash 5 (which are also 50% games). If you don't know what I mean by a 50% game, that means you will lose a lot playing it (most of the time actually), and only sometimes you will win.
For example, let's say you decided to buy $10,000,000 in quick picks for MM6 for a certain drawing. Since it's a 50% game, you should have won about $5,000,000 (50% of what you put in) from the drawing.
I haven't won yet either.... but man.
It's just something about the double-thrill of checking your ticket after you've bought it to see what quick pick lines they gave you, plus hoping that your numbers come up in a combo-fashion during draw time. I've gotten four numbers a lot..... useless.....
