Hi to all the Cali pick 5 players. I thought I would see what others are doing to pick numbers for Fantasy 5. I am studying a couple diferent theories. One os the 0. 3, 6, 9 theory, prime number theory that I came up with, plus the old reliable hot/cold/pattern studies.
Anyone else studying any other ideas on picking numbers.

Among a few different methods to view patterns, I use Excel to watch CA F5 numbers that repeat as pairs (2 repeat from the same draw)
and when there are clusters of pairs repeating ( 12/11's draw in table) I then look for instances where 3
repeat from the same draw as on 1/9 where 3 repeated from the day prior AND
3 repeated from 9 draws ago. The rightmost column shows "3 repeats" occuring a lot lately.
I plan on testing/refining this method more, I haven't had the spare time to work on it.

Very interesting Lottomining. I had never thought of watching for pairs. By your chart above, they appear to come up allot. Have you figured out how to decide what pairs might repeat, which is obviously a must to do I would think.
I have been paying a lot of attention to prime numbers. I see at least 1 in about 80% of the draws, and 2 or 3 in 665% of the draws.

I havent had the time to follow them these last couple weeks tho. But I am back at it some. Out of 25 plays, I can get 4 or 5 of the numbers. Just not on the same line, with a few exceptions of hitting 4 on a play twice.
I do a full wheel with 6 numbers 4 times, instead of doing one 7 number wheel. This way I can use more numbers. I have tried the abbreviated wheels and had all the numbers, but the selection process on the abbreviated wheels always makes me miss the hits as that seems to always be the combination that is left out.

I decided to break the numbers down in groups of 8 with the last group being 7 numbers
What I noticed is that in the last 20 games, group 5 <33 34 35 36 37 38 39> had numbers in 15 games and showed up a total of 19 times. 4 games having the group 5 numbers twice in a game. I am thinking that group 5 numbers should be something that is used in all number picks. At present, I am working on this pattern as well as using prime numbers, in bold below, as well as hot numbers combined with a 0, 3, 6, 9 theory to see how many numbers I can trap. The trick will be to narrow down the numbers to a decent amount to wheel.

So 09,16,19,23 and 12,21 are left to come out. So pay attention more to these since these are "overdue".
Here the 12 and 21 like to come out together alot. They are what I call a "married pair". I don't know if it's the same for Cali. That is why I wanted you to take a look at each of the 23 numbers and see with numbers are a married pair. So we have 6 numbers that are "overdue" so they should be included in your plays. Remember we are only using the 23 numbers. Look for pattern. "hot", "cold" and repeats.

I didn't lose focus. I have the 0 3 6 9 study going, a prime number study going, and I am going to do a 0 3 6 9 + prime number study. I am keeping them all seperate.
I am not sure how to look for the "married" pairs. Here are the last 30 games. I do see that 03/06 have come up in 3 different games. But thats all I see.

Gary, that's not what I meant. Let me explain. Take each number, in this case it's the 23 numbers we are looking at. For each number you are going to see how many time for example 03 has been paired with 06, how many times 03 has been paired with 09, how many times 03 has been paired with 10 etc... You are going to use from 30 to 50 previous draws for each number. When you do this then you will "see" which number is "married". If you don't use at least 30 or 50 previous draw you won't clearly see the pattern. That's what I'm talking about.

I'm new to playing lotto with a plan versus random numbers. I'm getting an understanding on wheeling. I understand the need to know why one chooses numbers and why one excludes numbers. I totally get that one needs both the hit list and the miss list to be winners. If one can't correctly weed out numbers, that's just as big of an issue as not being able to trap all the winning numbers.
I am curious about the key/power number. You've chosen 19. May I ask why? Is it a gut feeling? Or is there a pattern it fits that you are responding to? If so would you share what the pattern is that you've identified? I would love any insight you would share.
My current personal best is 4/5 on Fantasy Five. I got lucky. I'm working on being able to repeat it as while I chose the numbers, it was early on (2 months ago) and there was zero reasoning behind the numbers other then I liked them. At that point I had not even identified why I liked them, just that I did.
