Anyone care to offer some strategies on regular Lotto games?
I am talking about lotteries which use a base set of numbers and six numbers are selected from that base, no bonus ball is drawn from a separate set.
I am partial to the Win For Life game, which draws seven numbers from the base of 42 (1-42).
My current strategy is based on “numbers out”, meaning the number of draws “out” from the last time it (the number) was drawn. For Example from WFL:
Game N1 O1 N2 O2 N3 O3 N4 O4 N5 O5 N6 O6 N7 O7
317 16 11 32 8 33 2 36 3 40 10 41 2 17 5
316 10 13 19 6 22 9 29 6 31 14 35 12 13 10
315 9 1 12 8 18 4 33 19 41 2 42 1 1 6
314 5 2 9 3 14 6 20 7 34 2 42 4 36 4
313 6 1 8 25 11 1 21 2 25 8 41 7 28 11
In game 317 – Number 33 and number 41 were two games out (or two games from last draw). Occasionallyone sees patterns and if you follow those patterns, you do well – sometimes.
However, to arrange these groupings you usually need to create a base of 25 numbers, to use in the selection process. I have used this approach and have managed tosnag three and four numbers per ticket (a ticket is six numbers) on a fairly consistent basis. This is good for some nice winnings, but a long way from the “big ones”
Since I cannot afford to WHEEL 25 numbers – I was wondering if anyone would share suggestions to bring the base numbers down to say 12 numbers, instead of the 25.
Thanks
