  If Mega Million and Powerball teamed up and offered a $10 60/40 Raffle with the states keeping 40% of the pot and 60% of the pot going to ONE winning ticket once a year would you play it ?
  
  If they sold 175,000,000 tickets in one year you would have a chance at a ~$1,000,000,000
  (1 billion dollar) >CASH< jackpot once a year and the odds would be  comparable to both games.  The 40 or so states in both games would have to sell about 84,000 tickets per week to get it up to a billion but if it was less than a billion your odds would be better and if it was more than a billion Cash would you care that the odds were somewhat higher?

  I better put this in my signature before the ministry of disinformation bans it!  I'd tweet it but I have never had a twitter or facebook account (and never will)
