            Good Morning Taterman,

I understand where you are coming from.  You have some that seem to be spending lots of money on the Lottery, maybe their funds allow for this.  Some times they win and most of the time they don't.  The adventure vs the outcome is not adding up, but some of us still continue to play big.  The one rule that I will always follow is Pay the Bills before you Play the Lottery.  The math is not adding up - if you play 15 numbers every draw for a week, that's 330 numbers, say you only spend 50 cent any, then you have spent $165.00.  If you are lucky enough to hit twice during that week, you win a min. of $80.00.  Looking at the math, you really have not won anything.  A long time ago I had a Little Old Lady to tell me not to chase the numbers, but let the numbers come to you.  That to me meant to choose a few key numbers and play them everyday for a while before you change up.  I"ve found that it has worked to my advantage.  There is lots of good information out here on the post, some really good predictions, but we can't play every number that's posted.  That where you have to do your own research (workout) and just use this information as a tool.  I hope this makes a little sense to you.  Gook Luck to you with whatever choice you make.

            Hello hotmama..

Makes perfect sense to me...I was doing some figuring and i have won 240 dollars i think that is what it is..Since febuary and spent around 600 dollars...So with that i really spent 360..

NOT GOOD For me..And i like that idea of letting the numbers come to you..

I have seen and seen everyone saying 3 day rule..and there have been times when i would have won if i would have done that..

So Good Luck all..I am not going anywhere and will still be playing pick 3 and pick 4..And cash 5.

Just not spending much money on it right now..Praying the Lord will give me some work and let my health be good enough to work..

            Good Luck Everyone..

Good luck everyone..And congrats on all who won..

Got a few things to say..Really most of us on here play these numbers and spend spend spend.

To only win once in a while and not even get back nowhere close to what we have put in..

For me it is really getting to much..If someone has the money to play 10 to 15 numbers or

more twice a day.. And hardly ever hit..Congrats to the lottery for bringing in the money.

There are some in here that mop up and hit big..And way to go for all of you..

But most in here just spend money like throwing it away..And hardly ever hit..

Here is what i am doing..Going to cut back way back..

I mean if one can not at least make some money on it..It's crazy to keep spending 10 and 20

dollars a day..With nothing coming back...

Of course we do have big winners here and a lot of people here hit quite a bit..

But most just give the lottery there money..

Oh well sorry for all of this just wanted to say a few things here..

I will play some..But need to study these numbers some more..

And re-group...Working on something right now for pick4..

              Testing it out...Hope it works...

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE...Hope i have not made anyone mad..

Have a great and Blessed day...

I am completely with you on this and you are absolutely correct.  I myself used to spend way too much a draw and find that i was one# off or had the mirror of it.  I have also followed all the rules of engagement when playing (ex:  3 day rule, flipping, etc.) but still the same results have occurred.  The other day played 147 for $3 and look what ncel did yeah i was mad but i only lost $3 compared to playing several #'s for one draw so it didn't knock me upside the wallet and hurt as much as when i was forking out over $15 a draw.  When it is meant to be it will happen.  I read all the post when i get a chance and i do my own workouts and see if anything leads to that one good # but for me there is no more large group of #'s to play for one draw.  The next time i hit i want to know that i made a profit...not just broke even.  didn't even have a good feeling to play last night and I feel glad bc i wouldn't have hit.  I was one off on figuring the p4 for last night but like i said before i didn't play.  I do know that the feeling i have today for sitting out last night is that i will find the right # soon only bc i obviously am heading in the right direction of finding the golden # if i seem to be one off everyday.  it's all about picking out the right one.  until then i will try to help others by making a post of a couple of good #'s if i see them but it doesn't mean i played all of them.

Was one number off with 2 in p4...that game is driving me up the "dayme" wall too!

Makes me wonder why I keep playing!...Crazy

Thanks Hotmama!  I've heard all of that before but surely did need to hear it again!

I do pay all of my bills before playing the lottery...wouldn't dream of not doing that.

Here's something on the "light" side...yesterday I went to a huge book store that just opened up and bought two books...one was "Stop Gambling for Good" and the other one was "The King of Vegas Guide to Gambling" which has some good info on how to gamble responsibly in it so thought it would help me.

When I went to pay, the clerk looked at me funny (I thought) anyway I piped up and said well I want to learn more about gambling and if I ever get ready to stop I'll read the other book...Big Grin

I'm not suggesting anyone get these books at all...I just happened to see them and got them.....good luck to all today!See Ya!

That was the last day of their sale on books...all hardback were $4 and all softback were $2 so I only paid $4 for both of them since they both were softback....they had that promotion to let people know they have opened up their store.

I have so many books.... I have just donated 3 boxes last week to Goodwill and many times before that...I would never pay a lot for books when there are several half price books stores around and you can buy them at Goodwill too.

Here's where I get mad...is when I buy scratchers and lose and then I think how many p3 and p4 tickets I could have bought with them...don't hardly buy any of them anymore.

Here's where I get mad...is when I buy scratchers and lose and then I think how many p3 and p4 tickets I could have bought with them...don't hardly buy any of them anymore.

i agree with you completely on all of this....it doesnt matter how much you paid for the book i was just making a little joke about the # of tickets you could have bought.....as for the scratch offs i have totally blinded myself when i see them on the shelf bc i was like a crackhead when it cam to buying them when they first came out and lost lots of money fooling with those things......then came the p3 and p4 and i had to slow my roll on those two games also.  it's all a matter of self control and discipline.....i too have a whole bunch of books on the lottery sometimes they help and sometimes they are purely for entertainment like they warn you about in the beginning.  i will tell you there is a LB book that has preceeders, followers, and pairs and it has helped alot in finding a good #.
