I don't know when our Government will learn that they cannot create laws to uphold morals. You would think that they learned by Prohibition of the 1920 -30? No, they didn't. Its okay to go to the corner gas station, stand in line and play the lottery with the state, but when it comes to doing it in the safety and comfort of your home it prohibited? Give me a break!
I was watching Poker on TV the other night when one of the members playing mentioned a well known gaming site, I bet you (LOL) that he got paid to mention it too. Its the Government that is wrong, sure its illegal because they can't figure out how to get their share of the pie. Once they do, it will then be legal.
Mind you I don't do cocaine, or illegal drugs because don't know what the heck is in that stuff, scares me to even take drugs my doctor gives me. No, I don't trust legal drugs either. I would rather stay sick. But that is what prohibition does, creates an unlawful supply chain, as with drugs, ''illegal gambling,'' prostitution (legal in Nevada), and a few other things that should be left up to grown adults to make the choice.
The whole problem with our Government? We fear our Government, scared to death speak out against what they impose on us. In France and other countries the Government fears the power of the people. And I think we have became wimps since the days we would march in the streets against the Viet Nam War, ERA, and The Civil Rights Movement. We are too accepting of what is imposed on us, its not being a solid citizen to question the Government, National Security is at stake. They use everything they can think of to keep you from asking, questioning and demanding them to do the right thing.
If the Government is going to be Big Daddy and 'protect' us from ourselves why don't they outlaw cigarettes? If there is a war on drugs why don't they spray herbicide on all of the poppy fields and pot fields and kill the source of the drugs? Just stopping one truck with pot or drugs is not a war, its a joke.
