I turned on the radio to hear some news earlier in the day on 04/20/2009 and the news brief was of the MSL (Michigan State Lottery) in Michigan upgrading their lottery system on 04/19/2009, becuse of.... well.... that's what I was wondering.... why the upgrade?

Does it concern future draws of MSL games?

Should all the Lotto games be zeroed out to start at game one, to reflect the the new system upgrade?

It might be something to consider if you Play the Computerized Games:

    Michigan (63% true lottery drawings)

True Drawings: Daily 3, Daily 4, Mega Millions, Midday 3, Midday 4

Computerized: Classic Lotto 47, Fantasy 5, Keno

A mind once stretched by a new idea never returns to its original dimensions!

Well, if you checked  the "remaining prizes" for the instant games on the Official Michigan website it now tells you the remaining prizes for ALL prize levels instead of just the top 3 for each ticket.

Also, for the online games you can now buy tickets for 60 consecutive draws instead of just 20 consecutive on the old system.

This wasn't in the upgrade but I found out, by accident, when they got the new terminals that you can buy a ticket for a specific draw date without getting consecutive draws.  Jokingly I asked for the winning numbers for a daily 3 drawing that was 9 days away and instead I got a $1 easy pick ticket for that draw date.  I bought it even though I didnt want it but I dont know how the gal did it and I haven't asked for a specific draw since but I am considering it for birthdays.

        -new graphics on lotto machines

-re-designed software so the lottery terminal uses less paper.

-Lotto machines now has a screen saver.

        that was the "upgrade"

Ok, I guess that's good news. It doesn't affect the RNG games; MI 5/39 Fantasy Five and MI 6/47 Classic Lotto.

          Balance is Key

You forgot to say the tickets have new headers at the top with fancy designs instead of just
"Mega Millions" or "Classic Lotto" printed at the tops they now have logos.
