I need some help. I am not sure if this type of analysis has been done here (I am sure it has - I just don't know how to search to find it, what words to use).
I took the last 30 daily draws for Indiana and sorted each draw in ascending order. For example, if the number was 428 then I sorted it so it was 248. I did this for each draw.
I then did a count of each column for each digit. I did a permutation for each column that had a number with a count. For example in the "A" column, every number showed up but the 9. The "B" column had every number but the 0. The "C" column had every number except for 0, 1 and 2.
This gave me 505 numbers which I deflated using the tool here.
The deflate resulted in 119 singles and 75 doubles (and 5 triples which I dropped).
Using these numbers, I backtracked the last 30 daily draws and got a box hit every draw. I noticed a few straights in there but did not mark them (for the daily).
Out of curiosity, I ran the last 30 midday draws against those numbers and got 27 hits with 9 of those being straights. If I played those last 30 every day then at the end of the 30 draws I would be up $120.
So, my questions are, has this way of looking at the numbers been done before and if so, what is it called.
Also, any ideas on filtering these numbers down using this ascending sort method? Even though I got some straight hits in there and doubles worked fine too (I eliminated the 5 triples that showed up in the original 505), I basically consider this a box type of system so 119 singles and 75 doubles would not be profitable. Although, getting a hit for every single draw is exciting.
There is something here in analyzing this way but I am still too new to decide the best way.
