Everyone doing alright with this one? Let me know... Pogo
Sad to say, but I sure haven't had much luck with these. Just tried this one too and it says,"Read only".
Now don't get me wrong, I love to read but I want to play too, lol. Can't figure it out....hmmm. My computer does some weird things sometimes but this takes the cake. I've run across this before somewhere, can't remember now. It's a shame, it's like I'm all left out of my own birthday party, lol.

I feel for you... My computer at work is doing the same thing, but the guy that sits next to me pulls them up just fine... If I figure it out, I'll let you know, but in the mean time remember we're celebrating with you not without you - lol... BTW, do you want me to e-mail you the file in XLSX (2007) or XLS (1997 - 2003)??? If so drop me a PM with your e-mail... I think I already have your e-mail address, but just in case & all... Let me know LL - NiteNite Sweety, Pogo

A few folks are having troubles with the files coming up as "Read Only"... How many folks are having these problems? Also, would everyone prefer to either download 1. zip files or 2. have to right click on the file to save it??? The issue isn't the old XLS files - when you click on these it will ask you to OPEN or SAVE - but the XLSX files try to open automatically open in browser due to file extension... THANKS for all input, PoGo

pogo:
i downloaded the2007 excel file and then used"save as" to my desktop and it made a copy that works fine.
but, i personally like the "click and save" type or downloading files from a site such as "box".
thanks for all you do!

My, you're up late, you busy bee! It must be around 12:30 in NC.
Pogo, thanks again for all that you're doing here! It's awfully sweet and very much appreciated. Thanks a bunch!!!!
You asked me the other day--"BTW, do you want me to e-mail you the file in XLSX (2007) or XLS (1997 - 2003)??? If so drop me a PM with your e-mail... I think I already have your e-mail address, but just in case & all... Let me know LL"
I thought I PM'ed you the other day and here I am waiting for your answer and DUH! I checked my "sent" box and see nothing in there to Pogo,LOL. DUH! Will do now.
Just opened the new files and I don't see any "read only" anymore but still won't let me do any calculations. I'm supposed to put the number in the box that says "date",right? Maybe I'm just doing it wrong!

Indeed, I was up late, but it was bothering me that folks couldn't open my files... Sooo, I had to do what I had to do... lol
You're very welcome, I love the trade off; you come up with the creative ideas & I get to materialize them so to speak... I like being able to contribute something since my brain can't think of any new ways to look at numbers :-P
lol, that's funny, because I was wondering what was taking you so long to PM me 'bout the files... Glad you did...
No More "Read Only" = YIPEEE!!! Success & btw you should try entering your pick 3 number into C4 (1st digit), D4(2nd), & E4(yada yad yada) - your not the only person that has asked about that - I guess I should stop switching from 1 Cell for all 3 numbers to 3 Cells for each individual number and back...
Anywho, Always great to talk to the inspiring LL - TTYL, Pogo :-)
