It is risk VS reward...
My measure. Not a perfect system, but close. Is to take the jackpot prize in cash and divide it by the odds.....
Being from the USA I use $$$$
Therefor for mega millions 204600000/175711536= 1.16 the bigger the better
For powerball 17100000/195249045=.0876
For Wisconsin Megabucks it's 2500000/6991908= .3576
For Illinois little lotto its 420000/575757=.7294
It does not take into account various factors. Like in Little lotto, match 2 and get your buck back. Or Wis supercash where the prize is not split if there is more than one winner.
If it cost you a quarter to play and there are no winners, it is very expensive.....
