There's a question I haven't heard asked. Where do the non-tourists go to play? Big Smile

In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

I have friends that live in Vegas and they usually play at off strip casinos like Orleans, Rio, Gold Coast, Palms, Hard Rock Café, Palace Station and Stratosphere. There are several casinos near or on N. Rancho Drive in North Las Vegas that most tourists never heard about that are favorites of the locals or you might try the casinos on Boulder Highway too if you're trying to get away from the tourists. You'll see more tourists down-town Las Vegas because of the Fremont Street Experience but many of the locals still go there to play.

Thanks Stack47, I was beginning to think I'd asked a forbidden Scared question.

Oh, it's not the tourists. I read somewhere that some "regular" places offer better payouts than what's on the "strip", to compete with the bright lights. Big Grin

I've stayed at the Orleans several times and enjoyed each one of them. There sports-book is a favorite of the locals too.

              Try Arizona Charlies.

El Cortez (downtown) offers the highest average Keno payout percentage of any casino in Las Vegas, but I have no idea about their other games.

Saw a lot of locals at Fitzgerald's (also downtown) the last time I was there.
