  and should you play large sums of quickpicks at diff times

   

  would you play 8000 lines all at one or break it up

  I think the number of lines you play is more important then when you play.  Only play what you can afford to lose and remember the odds of winning are exactly what is posted on the back of the play slips, buying 8000 lines doesn't change them.  When the jackpots are high some stores sell more than 8000 lines and are lucky if they have a $150 winner and so will you unless you have a strategy for buying 8000 lines.  But then if you had such a strategy you wouldn't be asking the question and you would had ran simulations to see what is mostly to happen.

   * you don't need to buy every combination, just the winning ones *
