I am seeking a 'wheeled system', not to use on any of the lotteries shown, but in an Australian "pick 6" lottery.

I need to find a system that picks 3 from either 20 or 25  selections offerring the best available combinations of 3 @ whatever 'minimum' cost.

Can anyone help Big Smile - or do I need to go somewhere else Unhappy ?

A Pick-6 wheel is good for any Pick-6 game unless the wheel is larger then game size.

With Platinum membership you have access to the wheels you seem to be asking for.  http://www.lotterypost.com/wheels-6.asp

The wheel is a matrix, a net of numbers that guarantees a minimum result when conditions are met.   The wheel neither "picks 3" nor does it offer the best combinations of 3 available and minimum cost isn't always the best wheel (if the wheel is split) though generally part of the goal in the wheel's construction.

Many thanks for your response BobP - much appreciated - but what I am looking to do is make up one part of a system that I am building up (for a 'pick 6' lottery in Australia), and this segment requires the best combination of 3 from 20 (I know the full odds are long). I may increase it to 4 picks from 30 sels (or even reduce it to 2 picks from say 16 sels), but initially I need a good abbreviated wheel combination of 3 from 20 before I take the matter further.

The wheels that seem to be available through lotterypost only cater for pick 5 or pick 6, and, at this stage, this is not what I am looking for.

        tern2,

Sounds like you would benefit from constructing your own wheels. To do this have a look at Wheel Generator under the Lotto Architect web site.

Wheel Generator will construct virtually any combination of guarantee, match condition & number of balls you desire.

        cheers

Are you looking for three numbers on a line?

            Here is a 2if3of22numbers38 lines or 100%(22,3,2,3)=38

             1  3 12
             1  4 22
             1  5  9
             1 10 13
             1 11 20
             2  6  7
             2  8 21
             2 14 17
             2 15 18
             2 16 19
             3  4  9
             3  5 13
             3 10 11
             3 20 22
             4  5 20
             4 10 12
             4 11 13
             5 10 22
             5 11 12
             6  8 17
             6 14 18
             6 15 19
             6 16 21
             7  8 18
             7 14 21
             7 15 16
             7 17 19
             8 14 19
             8 15 16
             9 10 20
             9 11 12
             9 13 22
            11 12 22
            12 13 20
            14 15 16
            15 17 21
            16 17 18
            18 19 21
            end 38 lines 2if3

You can turn this into a 4 if 3 pairs wheel by assigning each pointer number to a pair to make six number combinations.

Thanks for your response Jack-C, but not quite what I am looking for. I want to end up with only 3 numbers in each line - not 6.

OK.  2if3 20 numbers - 33 lines - much the same as Bob provided.

Spot on BobP. This looks to be just what I want. 2 from 3 guarantee sounds good to me over 22 selections in 38 lines. Will now configure it into my system and see how things go. Have been trying to get to grips with formulae found on the web, but now too old to work it all out. Thank you very much.

Great stuff Jack-C. Yes it's exactly what I wanted. Now I Have two to choose from. How did you do it so quickly? I'd love to know how to do it, but suppose it's a "trade secret" or one needs a really good knowledge of math\algebra to work out the formulae.

Thank you very much for your time and help. Now to put the offerings into practice and see how I go.
