If you're having trouble getting a grip on Fantasy 5 Jackpot games, I hope these breakdowns will help you a little bit. This is just some information that you may or may not be able to use but thought it might be worth posting. Where do we go from here? Maybe someone out there might have some ideas, I hope you'll please share if you do after reviewing this, thanks!

Have you ever noticed that Jackpot results generally fall into one of these patterns?

Singles-Teens-Twenties

Singles-Teens-Thirties

Singles-Twenties-Thirties

Teens-Twenties-Thirties

Of course the last way your numbers can fall would be Singles-Teens-Twenties-Thirties but I choose to ignore this way since it is way too many numbers and too complicated to break down.

However; if you go back through your game's history do you know which way your numbers fall the most? It might be worth a look.

Say that your numbers most often fall in the Singles-Teens-Twenties  catagory. If they do then this would be every string combination that your Jackpot numbers would fall in. You would have to match one of the numbers  with one of the letters, 60 combos in all, though I won't write them all out.

B--19 20 21 22 23 24 28 29

C--19 20 21 25 26 27 28 29

D--22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29

Let's use Georgia for example.

A recent Singles-Teens-Twenties  result:

Oct 28--05-15-20-23-29

#2,4,6,11,13 and 14 had our first 2 numbers.

Matched with B would have given us the last 3 numbers.

#2/B,#4/B,#6/B,#11/B,#13/B and #14/B would have given us 20 numbers. 19 numbers eliminated so far.

So now what do we do? 20 numbers is still too many to wheel, right? I started breaking down the #2/B.

#2--01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 13 14 15

  B--19 20 21 22 23 24 28 29

Breakdown for these--

#1--01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08

#2--01 02 03 04 05 06 09 13

#3--01 02 03 04 05  06 14 15

#4--01 02 03 04 07 08 09 13

#5--01 02 03 04 07 08 14 15

#6--01 02 03 04 09 13 14 15

#7--01 02 05 06 07 08 09 13

#8--01 02 05 0607 08 14 15

#9--01 02 05 06 09 13 14 15

#12--03 04 05 06 07 08 14 15

#13--03 04 05 06 09 13 14 15

#14--03 04 07 08 09 13 14 15

#15--05 06 07 08 09 13 14 15

A--19 20 21 22 23 24

B--19 20 21 22 28 29

C--19 20 23 24 28 29

D--21 22 23 24 28 29

Now #3,8,9,12,13 and 15 gave us the first 2 numbers and C gave us the last 3.

Breaking down #3/C--

#3--01 02 03 04 0506 14 15

C--19 20 23 24 28 29

#1--01 02 03 04 05 06 14 15

#5--01 02 03 04 14 15 20

#6--01 02 03 04 19 20

#7--01 02 05 06 14 15 19

#8--01 02 05 06 14 15 20

#9--01 02 05 06 19 20

#10--01 02 14 15 19 20

#11--03 04 05 06 14 15 19

#12--03 04 05 06 14 15 20

#13--03 04 05 06 19 20

#14--03 04 14 15 19 20

#15--05 06 14 15 19 20

A--23 24 28

B--23 24 29

C--23 28 29

D--24 28 29

Our last winning combinations would be

#8/B = 10 numbers

#8/C = 10 numbers

#12/B = 10 numbers

#12/C = 10 numbers

#15/B = 9 numbers

#15/C = 9 numbers

From here you would need a nice wheel for 9 or 10 numbers.

I'm still working on this. There are still many questions, such as "how do we know which ones to start with before the Breakdown?" "If we keep breaking them down will certain numbers match with certain letters more often?"

What are some of your thoughts, questions?

Would you be interested in a system like this?

    I like the last part with A  B  C  D

but my State usually ends with a 30 or a couple of 30's.

Not trying to play devil's advocate here, but for my local pick 5, which is out of 36...and I'm not sure if the lack of those three extra numbers in the thirties has anything to do with this..the Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties seems to be the most common for jackpots here. I just took some time and went over the last 4 months (plus a few days) worth of jackpot results, and a Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties jackpots came up 33 times, the most out of all the other combinations. Ones-Teens-Twenties came up 25 times, Ones-Teens-Thirties came up 15 times, Ones-Twenties-Thirties came up 15 times as well, and Teens-Twenties-Thirties came up 19 times. The remaining jackpots were only two combinations of numbers (for example, all ones and twenties, all teens and twenties, etc).

Interestingly enough, when I cut the range down to the past 3 months worth of jackpots, the results were: Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties jackpots came up 21 times, Ones-Teens-Twenties came up 24 times, Ones-Teens-Thirties came up 13 times, Ones-Twenties-Thirties came up 10 times, and Teens-Twenties-Thirties came up 14 times. (The remaining jackpots were only two sets of numbers).

As you can see, something disappointing is that the Ones-Teens-Twenties combination, which came up 24 times over a 90 day period, only came up ONCE more when you extended the range another month to 120 days (which was in July...that combination only came up on one jackpot!). Plus the Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties combination came up 12 times in July.

So while it is somewhat helpful to see that in my lottery, the ones-teens-twenties-thirties and the ones-teens-twenties combination appear to be more common than the other combinations...within the last 120 days at least...I have a feeling that the further out in time you go/the more you extend the time range, the more evenly divided the jackpots appear to be. This leads me to believe that the patterns are too random to be worth excluding any combinations.

The other problem, as you mentioned, is trying to figure out where to breakdown and go into the next set. The frequencies are too random in my opinion. For the record...I play the Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties combination 99% of the time on my tickets. Yet I only seem to ever hit 2 numbers max on each drawing.

Thank you to everyone for the terrific info.  When I saw this thread this morning I decided to add a field to my database of California Fantasy 5 draws with the letters.  I did the last 100 draws and I am showing only those that hit twice or more in the last 100 draws.  Very interesting info.

                A = 1-8

                B = 9-16

                C = 17-24

                D = 25-32

CARBOB your extensive data proves that the Ones-Teens-Twenties-Thirties group hit the most for our lottery over time, just as I thought. This means that unfortunately, it would be unwise to dismiss that group, contrary to what lottolaughs suggested above (which is disappointing since groups of only three combinations would be somewhat less difficult to have success with). Then again, that's over 8 years worth of data you have there. The frequency of the ABBCD group (Ones-Teens-Teens-Twenties-Thirties) that you listed seems like it could be helpful. But I just reviewed the past 30 jackpots, and the ABBCD group only hit 4 times. Then I went back another 30 days, into September...and that set only came up once.

I don't think we really have anything here.

Maybe after you tie down some loose ends, by using the AADDD as a filter and 2222 making a compound filter, then hope and pray.

Since I had already posted my predictions for California Fantasy 5, I am trying this method for the Ohio Rolling 5 for tonight (it has the largest jackpot right now).  I used random numbers and did 5 lines of the AABCD and 5 lines of ABCCC.

Can't be any worse than I have been doing with Pick 5 predictions!!

using the last digits of the draw and these rules, you will have a 1 or a 2 for filters high/low; even/odd; in/out; consecutive, non-consecutive.

                          I. 1. Mostly to All HIGH (5,6,7,8,9) ..... or

                          2. Moslty to All LOW (0,1,2,3,4)

II. 1. Mostly to All EVEN (0,2,4,6,8)...or

                          2. Mostly to All ODD ( 1,3,5,7,9)

III. 1. Mostly to All IN digits (3,4,5,6,7) ...... or

                          2. Mostly to All OUT (0,1,2,8,9)

IV. 1. Cosecutive Pair , 0-9, is consec

                          2. NO Consecutive Pair

you will wind up with this
