A $50 win for Blockbuster is probably a good win, there are 1,384,272 packs of 25 tickets printed and only 692,304 $50 prize winning tickets printed so there isn't enough $50 tickets for every pack to have one. The low tier prizes of $20, $25, and $30 all have enough for there to be some in each and every pack if distributed evenly, indeed if the low tier prizes were equally divided amongst the packs then their value would meet the guaranteed $160 per pack. For a while, I thought this was how they met their guaranteed minimum prize value per pack but with game 1024 Super Set For Life, the $20, $25, $30 and $40 prizes could be distributed to meet the guaranteed pack minimum by having four different packs with 0331, 2231, 2321, and 2321 of those low value tickets but I just won 4 $25 and 1 $30 prizes from tickets 1 through 12 of a pack which blows the evenly divided theory out of the water. Obviously there are some packs without $25 tickets, perhaps with $100 tickets instead.
If you buy into the evenly divided theory with random shuffles within the divisions then there would only be a $50 prize in every 2 packs but that theory was just blown out of the water so I don't know.... yet...
