Do you believe/hope you will win your state lottery?

Or, do you play to support your state, and how the lottery revenue is spent?

We all get a lot out of lotteries!

If you mean state lottery pick 3 pick, 4 games...Yes. I believe/know I'll win. For the big jackpot games...I've always had hope that I'd win. Do I

believe I'll win a BIG jackpot?...When it happens, yes...Right now, I'll just hope for millions when I do play. I don't study jackpot numbers....for those

games, I just hope like a lot of others do. When my numbers aren't drawn, it won't be the end of the world though. I'll just try again.

I never thought of supporting my state when I played...anyway that would never, ever be the only reason I play.

I didn't give a <snip> about lotteries until I saw six numbers in my dream. So...I guess I play to win.

            If I didn't believe I was going to win...I wouldn't play at all...ofcourse I play to win.

Of course I play to win and I hope to win. I am sure that is why most people play the lottery.

It would appear that I play for the state, however unintentional that may be.

I play to win and I truly believe I will hit my Fantasy Five: its so clear in my head I can't explain it.  I don't have the same strong feeling with super lotto but I play that too  and if I didn't have a feeling of winning then I wouldnt play that.  On the flip side I don't think Mega Millions is my game.  I almost NEVER got one number with Mega  so if I play  even $1 per month on Mega, that saying alot.

But from what I hear, even though the lottery money goes to our schools,  many of the original education funds were reduced.  That makes me a bit upset.  Just because the state gets additional funding from the lottery doesnt mean they should take the original education dollars away.  California schools are still sub-standard even with the so-called  additional "it helps our schools" fund.  Its pitiful!

When I first saw this question, and it went 2 days with no one answering it, I was so proud of my Fellow LPers!  And I was kind of hoping it went unanswered and that would be that!   But it seems that the question was so preposterously ridiculous, that some one could not resist the urge to answer it, and so here I am sucked in the vortex with the others, Only a devout looser of a person who is sufering from a sort of masochistic Illness whould play to loose!!!  I hope this answers the question for all of us and we can now play on.... to Win!!!!ShockedPoke

forget what "they" say about youWhat you say about you?...

                        Now, does it count??
