Do you guys believe in playing numbers that have been dead (not come out in years) hoping eventually they will hit since they are "due"?

You must be talking about pick3 and pick4 combinations because individual numbers don't stay out that long and chances are pick5 and pick6 combinations will only happen once in the life of a game.

I have the capacity to make numbers go into a deep freeze for eons.

It's kind of like self-induced, digital cryonics at the mere thought of playing them.

To answer the question, no, I wouldn't play them.

And at that fleeting moment in time when that thought enters the ether, the universe recognizes it and the number becomes red hot.

A number can remain "due" longer than a gambler can afford to play it. Wink

I won 3 grand about 6 years ago in the p-3 using a combination of overdue numbers in straight positions and a Steve Player chart.

What i did was to weed out every number since the inception of the p-3 in Florida (About 14 years then), and see whether any sets have never shown. I had 3 sets. One was 984. I played all 3 sets for about a week without any luck, realizing that given the 14 years or so without showing, that they could easily take another few years to show. So I stopped playing for about 2 days or so.

            A long story short.....

The chart showed 984 as the best bet and that was my 3 grand win.

I was so convinced that I urged my roommate to at least put a buck up, or suffer the consequences in the morning when  he kicked himself in the butt for not playing. After much persuading he conceded. Of course he was happy when he won 500 dollars.

BTW....I actually went to the store to buy a hundred tickets but chickened out and only bought 6 tickets.....................................Hit With Stick............................Bang Head

Only if the number keeps showing up in others areas, like maybe its a omen. i hit 971 str. it was every where one day. usually i just forget about them.
