Hello everyone... I'm new to this Lotto forum... And I'm finding it really interesting.
I have a question but first let me throw out there my thoughts...
I have been looking for a system that incorporates numerology, Fibonacci or numeric reduction... but I haven't found one. I have a feeling that these methods of numbers might have some contribution to finding winning patterns. Being that they show relationship to each other. For example I found this interesting
Numeric reduction
Numeric reduction is a technique used in analysis of numbers in which all the digits of a number are added together until only one digit remains. As an example, the numeric reduction of 256 is 4 because 2+5+6=13 and 1+3=4.
Also the Number 9 is a very interesting number... for example, Applying numeric reduction to the Fibonacci series produces an infinite series of 24 repeating digits. If you take the first 12 and add then to the second 12 digits and apply the numeric reduction to the result, you find that they all have a value of 9.
First 12 number: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 4, 3, 7, 1, 8, 9
Second 12 numbers: 8, 8, 7, 6, 4, 1, 5, 6, 2, 8, 1, 9
Add 1st. & 2nd rows: 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9, 9
What's not quite so obvious is why this pattern should repeat every 24 numbers or why the first and last half of the series should all add to 9. Probably something to do with Base 12 numerology.
The indestructible Number 9
Add all the numbers in the numerical system and what you get: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9 = 45, 4+5= 9! The indestructible 9, which will be itself no matter how many times you multiply it or add it to its own multiplication: 1x9=9, 2x9=18=9, 3x9=27, and so on. While it retains its value this way, no. 9 is also the only number which does not destroy the identity of any number added to it, 1+9=10=1, 1+0=1, 2+9=11=2, 3+9=12=3, and so on.
Researchers have observed that changes that influence the entire world occur once in every 180 years, 1+8+0=9. The astrological chart has 360 degrees, 3+6+0=9. 45 degrees, 180 degrees and Pi 3.141 as well reduces to 9.
If you add 9 to any root number look what happens..
03 + 9 = 12 = 3
12 + 9 = 21 = 3
21 + 9 = 30 = 3
30 + 9 = 39 = 3
39 + 9 = 48 = 3
If you look at the results they all can be reduce to 03, also creating a family of 03's! It appear that the numbers in each family do not repeat themselves in other families from 1 thru 9 (see below).
1, 10, 19, 28, 37..
2, 11, 20, 29, 38..
3, 12, 21, 30, 39..
4, 13, 22, 31..
5, 14, 23, 32..
6, 15, 24, 33..
7, 16, 25, 34..
8, 17, 26, 35..
9, 18, 27, 36..
I have been playing with these ideas for a month or so, but I really don't have the Lottery know-how as many here do. I've actually have played with a couple of spreadsheet I've put together in Open Office software (which is free).
Here's my question...
In the California Fantasy5, can I consider the numbers 3, 12, 21, 30, 39 as a collective Group #3. I also thought I should be able to reduce the complete 39 numbers (Wheel) into nine collective groups. Having only 9 collective groups of numbers to analyze for patterns.. Or am I reaching.. lol
thanx

Sorry for the long post
