Thanks for the heads up, Rowen. Don't usually watch it but will tonight.

Maybe someone in Springield will win this week!

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

    Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Yes, I just saw it; very cute show...it show him winning it with lottery numbers from a fortune cookie--I keep playing the same numbers I received from a fortune cookie that said I would be rich one day: 1-11-13-14-16-21Banana

I bet a lot of people will play those numbers. A lot of people played the lottery numbers from the show LOST when they came out.

Yeah, I remember that. People here on LP were playing them.

I think I might take Homer's numbers and play them in the top box (Illinois Pick 6 is two for a dollar) and make the bottom box a QP.

Maybe those numbers are a key to unlock a winning set, just a quirk of mine.

I wonder if they did hit how many ways it would be split.

It's probably because we're not cartoons with a pre-planned script. Clown

I bet it would have been a cool episode Coin Toss! Yes Nod I have seen quite a few episodes, but I never recall any lottery related ones. Do you remember if there were any lottery type episodes on the show?

Not sure there were any. I think the series ended before lotteries started.

He certainly did touch upon gambling a few times, though. The camera that saw the future and people took it to the race track, and an episode about a guy and a slot machine. He heard the slot machine calling him and then saw it pysically coming to him.

Just as an FYI folks, the IL Lotto results the night after the Simpson's episode:
