  This is about as basic as it gets if the copy of Leonardo da Pisa’s Liber Albaci cannot be found on ebay.

  Leonardo used the pen name Fibonacci. The pattern he observed was later called the Fibonacci Sequence. A Fibonacci sequence can be plotted to produce a graceful curve. This is really a children’s book but if you enjoy looking at patterns from numbers or sets of numbers you should know about this very common denominator described with numbers. If you read it to the kiddies they can enjoy it too.
