Is there a site that will tell you how many lottery tickets were purchased each day?

On the Illinois lottery they show the number of winners, but not how many were purchased. Just wondering.

If I'm correct, I believe it was about 4,378,239 tickets that day.

Request the Information from the Illinois Lottery.

If you are interested in total sales of PowerBall and MegaMillions, Dawn Nettles  have those figures on her lotto report website.

Does that site include the total sales in Tennessee?

The Tennessee Lottery refused to release their sales figures to Lottoreport.

                  for powerball

ever 30 cents goes to the jackpot

the issue is,  power play sales don't help the jackpot at all

so by seeing how much was it at time of draw and the draw before it

say the jackpot went up 30m that draw

so they sold 100m worth of tickets

but again, i cant brute force math the darn power play and mega piler math

i know this, without  power play and mega piler, for folks to spend on,

the jackpot would grow even faster, a whole lot faster,

as more money would go to helping out the prize pool

house always wins when it comes to power play,

only 1 time did playerplay not work out for them,

when a ton of fortune cookies winners, all got 5-0 for 2nd prize

now that was funny to see them pay out all that money!

,talk about  backfired results right in their faces,

at first they had a panic attack, freaking out about all the winners

That's the exception that proves the rule

but they have reserves for that! see todd story:

Thanks, but I was trying to find the figures on Lotto and Little Lotto. I rarely play mega millions.

                      London,

I don't know the exact figures and am wondering why you want to know, but for Little Lotto once it starts getting pumped up the play really increases.

At midnight the website may show that no one hit the jackpot and tomorrow's jackpot is, say $345,000, and by the next drawing it has went to $450,000.

Remember last year when it was $1,000,000 for Little Lotto?

As for Lotto, judging by how the progression for the jackpot grinds I don't think it gets a whol lot of play. Three drawings a week is approximately 156 a year  and yet it was only hit 11 times last year.

Little Lotto, an everyday game,  gets hit every second or third day on an average. Last year Lotto got hit once every 14.18 drawings,

I wouldn't be surprised if Powerball doesn't knock Lotto right out of there.

Two of the three lotto drawing nights are also Powerball nights.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.
