Never heard of a 1 number guarantee system, do you know one? That would be an excellent system!!

It's if you know for sure one number will hit then you can win the whole thing. As long as no doubles fall out.

This "system" is touted when someone wants to sell you something.  They will give you the ONE digit that is going to fall (yeah, right!).  If no doubles, then you play 36 numbers:

Assuming the digit is 5:

015 025 035 045 056 057 058 059 125 135 145 156 157 158 159 235 245 256 257 258 259 345 356 357 358 359 456 457 458 459 567 568 569 578 579 589

Doubles & the triple would be these 19:

005 055 115 155 225 255 335 355 445 455 555 556 557 558 559 566 577 588 599

Please show me someone that can ALWAYS pick the one digit and I will follow them anywhere!!

If you wanted to try it in TN, then this is what you would play:

Midday

The digit 4 has skipped 14 draws (very overdue).

Singles to play:

014 024 034 045 046 047 048 049 124 134 145 146 147 148 149 234 245 246 247 248 249 345 346 347 348 349 456 457 458 459 467 468 469 478 479 489

Doubles & Triple to play:

004 044 114 144 224 244 334 344 444 445 446 447 448 449 455 466 477 488 499

Evening

The digit 5 has skipped 7 draws.

Singles to play

015 025 035 045 056 057 058 059 125 135 145 156 157 158 159 235 245 256 257 258 259 345 356 357 358 359 456 457 458 459 567 568 569 578 579 589

Doubles & Triple to play:

005 055 115 155 225 255 335 355 445 455 555 556 557 558 559 566 577 588 599

I think you can see that the main problem with playing the "1 number system" is that you are playing so many numbers you have to hit almost every time to make a profit.

You may have read some of Laverne Maloney's posts about missing numbers for specific states.  She uses combined mid/eve to figure the missing digit.  Most times, the digit shows the same day of the post, if not, the next day.  This may be a better way to track the missing digit, as a digit can be out a LONG time in any given draw (mid or eve).

I'm counting 36 singles, so that would be 30% of total single numbers.  The 19 doubles would give you ~21% of the doubles.  If doubles are due, then maybe play them. Either way, this system would only make sense if you were an online player.  Just my thoughts!

I have started in on the 'Pick 5' game of the TN lottery.

The jackpot is nowhere near MM or PB proportions, but sometimes it does get up there a bit.

I've been playing for a few months now and have at least won my \$1 back several times and once hit 3 numbers (all you have to do is hit 2 numbers to win the \$1).

Because there are far less numbers to choose from, this helps your chances of getting a hit.

Plus, the jackpot has reached around \$1M I have heard. It's at \$140,000 now. I figure if I hit and walk away with \$70K after taxes (estimate), it cant be that bad.

As for a system, just keep experimenting with the numbers and see what works for you.

10 digits for straight position.

1 dight = 1/10 chance for a given position.

If boxed for all 3 positions, that X 3 the chances, so a lot better chance, still not a very good chance.

Even using 3 "Key" digits, might not give a good enough chance.

It is still only 3/10 chance for each straight position, no matter if they are used as boxed digits or not.

Here is a suggestion for using the 1 number system.

Play each of the 36 numbers boxed 1 times=\$36.00    If you win it will be \$80.00 continue thru the days

Play each of the 36 numbers boxed 2 times=\$72.00    Win \$160 plus \$8.00 left over from previous win (\$168)

Play each of the 36 numbers boxed 4 times=144.00    Win \$320 plus \$24.00 left over from previous win (\$344)

Problem if you do not pick the 1 correct number you will lose almost all of your winnings!!!!!!

You would not have to play everyday only the days that you feel you can pick the 1 correct number.
