I for one say "Yes".  To prove my point, give me any 8 (max of 8) of your favorite numbers in the Mega Game, and I will show you how they did in the past 501 drawings in the Mega Game.  I look for the best  combinations of 3 or more of your numbers & then see what other numbers came in with your numbers.  You might be surprised.  You can either send me a PM or post them here & I will respond via PM or here. You decide.  Am I trying to prove a point?  Yes !

Well none of my numbers you gave me came up last night...but yes they do come up...like most of the 8 I gave you came up the draw before I believe...I didn't get to play them...but I see where you are coming from with this...I believe take numbers 1-16 and pair them off 1-2, 3-4, 5-6...etc and then look for 24 numbers that come up the most with these numbers plus the 8 mega/power balls that comes up with a set of numbers and then you have something.

Problem 1 is figuring out what set of numbers will be drawn next...will it start with 1-2 or 15-16...then lets say you think 15-16 will be drawn first...Problem 2 now you have to wheel 24 numbers that coincide with 15-16 and allocate the 8 mega/power balls to the set of numbers wheeled.

I think this can work and if you have money you can play all 8 sets...Something I have been working on.

The set of numbers I gave is base on past history, and chances are they will come in again.  All I can do is increase your odds of winning, I cannot predict if you will win or when you will win.  If I could do that, I would be rolling in the money all ready.  Don't get me wrong, I have a select set of combos I play.  But, there is no way I can play all the combos or tell when a certain combo will come again.  As long as the matrix doesn't change, you have a better than average chance.  I am only shooting to get 5 out of 5.  If I hit the MB, I will be more than just happy..............

The only pattern of numbers I tend to see is that at least one Padovan number is hit fairly consistently

There used to be someone on here who kept track of the Padovan sequences being hit, and from the past draws it has consistently contained at least one number from the Padovan sequence.  Sometimes you get one miss for every 3 or 4 draws.

In looking over 810 of the most recent drawings in the Georgia P5, here is what I found...

I would expect other states with ball drops to have the same results.  Only those RNG states will have totally different results because their "winning" numbers are manipulated

Do you know of other such concepts regarding a string of numbers?

I'm sorry Gasmeterguy,  that's the only set of numbers that I know of.  The user who kept up with this concept tracking them on the forum was Edge, but he stopped awhile back.  I've yet to hear from him.

5-8-10-16-30.

I asked for 8 numbers & you gave me 5.

That is ok as I will show you what I did with your 5 numbers.

In the first group below, I did a search on your 5 numbers

Out of the latest 505 drawings you had 2 that matched 3 out of 5; and 26 that matched 2 out of 5.

I then total the number of hits of each of your 5 numbers.  The results are below with the top 3 numbers hitting were 10;16;30.

I then did a search on just 10;16; & 30. to find out what numbers came in with relation with these numbers.

The result below were 25;44;48.

I then did a search on 10;16;30;25;44;48, The results are below.

From these results, I will give you my picks based on your original numbers.

 1 2007-06-15 1 5 16 26 30 3 hits 2 2010-04-20 5 8 10 34 42 3 hits 1 2006-02-07 2 16 25 30 48 2 hits 2 2006-02-24 3 5 12 16 34 2 hits 3 2006-09-12 3 16 25 30 44 2 hits 4 2009-05-12 4 8 10 14 51 2 hits 5 2008-05-23 4 8 11 22 30 2 hits 6 2007-08-14 5 8 9 24 34 2 hits 7 2008-03-21 5 8 17 19 41 2 hits 8 2009-07-10 5 10 26 27 28 2 hits 9 2008-07-11 5 14 16 39 51 2 hits 10 2007-06-19 5 16 31 49 54 2 hits 11 2005-09-16 5 16 41 46 50 2 hits 12 2006-11-17 5 19 25 30 50 2 hits 13 2005-12-06 6 10 26 30 33 2 hits 14 2006-04-14 8 10 18 29 33 2 hits 15 2006-11-03 8 10 22 25 55 2 hits 16 2007-04-24 8 10 35 36 43 2 hits 17 2005-11-08 8 16 21 25 27 2 hits 18 2008-08-15 8 23 29 30 53 2 hits 19 2008-12-16 10 14 16 29 40 2 hits 20 2008-12-12 10 16 19 27 48 2 hits 21 2010-04-16 10 16 31 48 50 2 hits 22 2009-12-18 10 20 30 44 49 2 hits 23 2008-11-28 10 30 44 46 48 2 hits 24 2008-01-01 13 16 25 30 54 2 hits 25 2007-12-04 16 27 30 45 53 2 hits 26 2007-07-17 16 30 38 46 51 2 hits ***** 5 = 10 8 = 10 10 = 12 16 = 14 30 = 12 ***** 1 2007-06-15 1 5 16 26 30 2 hits 2 2005-12-06 6 10 26 30 33 2 hits 3 2008-12-12 10 16 19 27 48 2 hits 4 2006-02-07 2 16 25 30 48 2 hits 5 2006-09-12 3 16 25 30 44 2 hits 6 2007-12-04 16 27 30 45 53 2 hits 7 2008-01-01 13 16 25 30 54 2 hits 8 2007-07-17 16 30 38 46 51 2 hits 9 2008-11-28 10 30 44 46 48 2 hits 10 2008-12-16 10 14 16 29 40 2 hits 11 2009-12-18 10 20 30 44 49 2 hits 12 2010-04-16 10 16 31 48 50 2 hits ***** 10 = 6 16 = 9 30 = 9 25 = 3 44 = 3 48 = 3 26 = 2 27 = 2 46 = 2 ***** 2006-02-07 2 16 25 30 48 4 HITS 2006-09-12 3 16 25 30 44 4 HITS 2008-11-28 10 30 44 46 48 4 HITS 2008-12-12 10 16 19 27 48 3 HITS 2008-01-01 13 16 25 30 54 3 HITS 2009-12-18 10 20 30 44 49 3 HITS 2010-04-16 10 16 31 48 50 3 HITS 2006-08-15 10 12 22 44 48 3 HITS ***** MY PICKS 10 16 25 30 44 MY PICKS 10 16 25 30 48 MY PICKS 10 16 30 44 48 *****

I missed a 48 in the second group of 12.  That means, there were 4 times instead of 3 that 48 came in.  And that the 12th line contain 3 hits instead of 2.  This really didn't change anything and I stand by my picks.
