Wide Open Derby this year since Pletcher had to scratch the likely winner.

All selections contenders for WIN.

All handicapping done BEFORE scratches and changes became available.

Betting advice: 1 betting unit to WIN: 2 betting units to PLACE (WIN double PLACE).

Look for value. Any selection going to post at odds higher than 5-1 is a value play.

My selections are just a heads up to take a second look during your handicapping.

Do your research and make up your own mind. Don't blindly bet these selections.

Race 11 The Kentucky Derby

2 Ice Box: Fits this race speed/pace wise. Will be running late in the lane at a price.

5 Line Of David: On 3 race win streak and has good chance to make it four at LONG odds.

12 Conveyence: Will probably be on the front end, but can hold on and may steal this.

11 Devil May Care: Filly has excellentspeed/pace figs and shades go on; can win at a nice price.

4 Super Saver: 3rd start off the bench for classy runner who can win but at low odds.

Race 12

Selections: 11 - 5 - 8 - 3
