Flood closes lottery headquarters; TN to borrow winning numbers from KY, MI, NY

Due to flooding shutting down the central office in Nashville, the Tennessee Lottery will borrow numbers from other state lotteries on Monday.

The midday drawings for Cash 3 and Cash 4 will use the numbers drawn for those games by the Kentucky Lottery.

As for the evening Cash 3 and Cash 4 drawings, those numbers will be drawn by the Michigan Lottery.

And the Pick 5 drawing for Monday night will be drawn by the New York Lottery.

The Tennessee Lottery chose those states and games for the similarity of their games and the timing of the drawings, in accordance with the Lottery's Disaster Recovery Plan.

WHEN IT FEELS THE WHOLE WORLD SUCKS!

RELAX.........IT'S ONLY GRAVITY Big Smile

Wonder what the time difference in the draws.  If the online betting establishments are unaware of this situation in Tenn. could you actully take the winning numbers and make a killing?

They used Kentucky's drawing which was 066. Payout was 14,000 dollars.

They should refund everybodys money back to them.

                          Dumb. Just dumb.

Better yet, they should have let the people hold their tickets until it was back up and running correctly in their own state.

                          Other states draws.....Roll Eyes

i would imagine that if they are using ky and michigan and new york winning numbers i imagine we have to play by their rules, meaning their draw times and etc.

In a crisis there is almost always an opportunity. Believe me when I tell you, a crisis, I have gone through them & I am still going through them.

Take a cue from the states that TN is now using for their draw results & watch those states not only now but in the future to perhaps give a headsup for # selections.
