            $3,000 on 984

I was planning to play a hundred bucks on that number because I felt it so strongly, but I chickened out and only bought 6 tickets for me, and one ticket for my friend. He didn't have the same conviction as me, even after I showed him the data revealing that 984 was going to show that night. But just before leaving the house to buy the tix, i told him that if he didn't atleast buy one ticket, he'd kick himself in the butt. So he gave me a buck to purchase him a ticket.

Half way back from the store, I pulled over and was thinking about going back. But I didn't, and kick myself in the rear everyday for not doing that. I had about 400 bucks to spare, my bills were paid, and so if I lost the money, it would have been no big deal, not to mention I would've had $50,000 and now been living in San Diego...

Boy was he glad I convinced him. The next day he was banging on my door like a madman. I was still in deep sleep when he scared the heck out of me. I thought he lost his mind.....lol

That day we went to the Seminole Casino and drank and gambled a couple of hundred away. Cheers

              $2,002, California Lottery, 1987, 5 of 6.

Got the numbers from a horoscope in a tabloid.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

Thanks vjohnson8, but I'm not sure my strategy is the problem though. I tend to choose all the numbers that fall frequently (it's probably the best strategy).

This past Wednesday, not only did my 923 fall straight in the Michigan daily 3 midday drawing, then my 9291 fell box in the evening daily 4 drawing. Ironically enough I played BOTH of those numbers during the evening drawings that night before. But I guarantee you if I had actually played those numbers the time they fell they wouldn't have fell.

In addition, with last night's Mega Millions I did match two of the regular balls (but not the megaball).

The last thing I want ot do is let the computer pick them. I already have very little trust in the way MSL runs things.

$4,000.00 Cash on June 1st 2009. I played "2525" .50 cents boxed 10x in NY Midday and the Midday Number was 2525 straight, so I went to ten stores and picked up $400.00 cash from each storeBig Grin I felt blessed to win all that cash and ever since then 2525 box has become a favorite of mine. I am going to start playing it .50 box 20 times every draw just in case there is a repeatYes Nod

My nearest store sold a 2.5 mil megabucks.  I stopped in the store for a minute later and they were giving the big check. I stayed long enough to shake the winners hand. 2 weeks later I stop in Illinois to get some tickets. I stop at a gas station in Zion, and my wife says "you aren't getting MORE tickets are you?". Well that Illinois lotto matched 5 out of 6 for $1,590....

Then in 2006, PB was $200 million. I had bought 11 tickets. At 8:30 its raining heavy, and I think of one place that I hadn't bought at. So I picked up a PB and Megabucks and a Badger 5. Hey 3 more bucks.

So I go through my tickets. Loser, loser, loser, loser. Then I checked another PB. Hey 20, I have $3. Ball 1 doesn't match. Ball 2 matches. Great! Hey ball 3 matches Wow!. Ball 4 matches. Hey, I have $100. Great.  So I recheck the ticket again.  Starting from  the back. Ball 5 matches, ball 4 matches, ball 3 matches. Hey $100!

Then I suddenly realize ball 2,3,4 and 5 match and the powerball. Then I finally realize that I won $10,000! I wake up the wife and she basically  says "so what" and goes to bed!

I was a bit late for work the next day! Too dumb to take the whole day off..

Back in '99 I matched 5 of 6 for $1500 playing Ohio Super Lotto.  Since then the best I've done is $150  matching 4+0 a couple years ago playing MegaMillions.  Apparently, winners aren't that common because the clerk said the $150 prize was the largest she had seen since starting there six months earlier and this was the most popular place in town for buying lottery tickets.

About 10 years ago for $1900

And about 5 years ago for $2200

Hummmmmmmm  every 5 years .... guess it's time for another big winner .... hopefully 6 of 6 this time .... or maybe a Powerball or MegaMillions win Dance

I won $200 twice on scratch tickets. One was a $5 and the other was a $20 ticket. Both were last year. the $5 ticket I got at a lottery vending machine in a stop and shop supermarket. I just picked any random ticket and I got the $200 winner. On the $20 dollar ticket, I was changing the trash bags at my job and saw 2 of the losing $20 billion dollar bonanza tickets which were consecutive tickets. I knew that there was a 1 in 2.99 odds of winning on those, so I asked the clerk which number was next on the billion dollar bonanza, and it was the next one. I purchased it and got $200. Since then, I haven't won anything big at all. Mostly prizes less than $20.

$372,  when my Fantasy Five number hit 4 of 5 a few months ago.  Waiting to hit the 5 of 5!

The most I won on a scratcher is $100, about  a year ago. on a five dollar ticket.
