It took 63 consecutive drawings before someone in Dallas hit the $97 million jackpot with a Quick Pick ticket.

The winner chose the cash value option, for a smaller payout.

Next jackpot is $4 million.

Wonder how long it will take for the next jackpot to be won.

Given Powerball can be played in Texas, it's time for Lotto to fade away. However, Texas is hurting. A huge
budget deficit on the horizon. Therefore, our greedy lottery folks will keep selling the game to the few thousand
diehards who have not yet snapped on to the fact that they are pouring their money into a rat hole.

Texas lotto is a tough game! It's hard to win anything. Most jackpots seem to be won in Houston most of the time. I still keep trying. (Maybe one day it could be me!) Best of luck to all who does try at this difficult game!Group Hug

Wow a lot of tolls bobby623 until someone wins their Lotto state jackpot. I think Texas should take away their own state lotto game and keep Powerball for sure!
