    Pick 3/Pick 4

Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings are conducted midday (12:40 p.m. Central Time), and evening (9:22 p.m. Central Time) Monday through Sunday.

A maximum of 12 drawing machines and 20 ball sets are available for use in the Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings. The particular machines and ball sets to be used for a given drawing are determined by random selection from among the available machines and ball sets. A special ball set and drawing machine are used for this random selection.

For each Pick 3/Pick 4 drawing, a total of 8 machines and ball sets are randomly selected, with the order of random selection determining how they will be used for that drawing. The 1st machine and ball set selected will be used as the alternate (backup) for both the Pick 3/Pick 4 drawings. The 2nd machine and ball set will be used to select the first Pick 3 winning digit, the 3rd machine and ball set will be used to select the second Pick 3 winning digit, etc.

Prior to each drawing, the Lottery's auditors conduct a total of 6 test draws on each machine, plus a rehearsal drawing. The balls are then re-racked in numerical order (with the 9 ball in the lowest position) and the machines re-sealed until the official drawing is conducted. After the official drawing, 3 more test draws are conducted to ensure the validity of the official drawing results.

There is a total of 9 pre-test draws.

Thanks for that Info MzDuffleBaglady and good luck to you

      Hey Buckike:

See, I just saw Illinois midday, 654, I was close, because, it was a straight number.

456, I said, 789, lol, I would have played all the straight numbers if I would have driven to Illinois.

It's 8:15 pm, Missouri,  I could make it, but, not tonight.

      Good Luck.

      The Struggle is real!

We must lobby against pre-tests, it is hurting our odds. How many winning numbers went invalid because of this pre-tests? Must be a lot. This is unacceptable. 9 pre-tests is simply pure fraud. That's 9 potential tickets being scrapped, they are making sure scrape any chance of someone winning. That's like pulling out a winner and telling the person who holds the ticket that it was just a "joke" and that they have to do a re-test. How many times is "testing" acceptable? I play no more than 20 picks and that's 9 of my potential tickets being scrapped. I'm not rich and don't have the money to compete with this type of foolishness.

This wheel is meant for single numbers not doubles so be careful when using it especially if you consider playing doubles from it.

                      Thanx Jordans121:

I would have played, 120, and 121, because, they are family members birthdays.  And, I got, 112 on a quick pick in Illinois, a couple of weeks ago.

Did you play it? I see that's the number behind your screen name?
